Rating: Summary: Great Attention Holder Review: After reading the rest of the series, I considered Olivia to be a cruel woman. After reading this book, I realize why Olivia became a cold person. I think Olivia's love for Nelson should have ended when he cheated on his wife. This should have shown her what a jerk he was. Then she might have been happier with Samuel (someone who loved her and would never cheat on her). This was a great book and kept my attention with all its twists and turns.
Rating: Summary: FANTASTIC Review: the book was great!! it took a little too long to get it out. but was worth the wait! what we need now is a book on hallie to fill in all the gaps in between her series! nice job. can't wait to see what is next
Rating: Summary: Wonderful!! Review: This is the best book that has been written in quite a long time from the V.C. Andrews ghost writer. The only problem is the time frame in which the book came out. It was too long in coming, plus it should have came out before the orphan series. As a matter of fact, the author could have skipped the orphan series. There still is a lot of missing information between Olivia and when the first book of the series started. It would have been nice to read some detailed information about the childhood of Hallie. Let's hope the author continue writing as well as Olivia was written.
Rating: Summary: Keep them coming Review: Well, I picked up the book from the library and didn't stop reading it until it was finished. I am going to be very upset when there are no more books to write about the "FAMILIES". It was amazing to me how I started off thinking Olivia to be normal and then as I read the book how different my opinion was of her. The author just made her change without you even reliezing it. I wish though they would publish the books in order though, since you sort of know how the endings are. I once again say...HERE HERE, great book, I thought it kept moving, and can't wait for the next one.
Rating: Summary: Some what ok. Review: This book could've been better in keeping me more up to speed. It kinda carried on a little to much but at least I know why Olivia was such a witch.
Rating: Summary: For die hard fans only Review: I started reading V.C. Andrews books with the Flowers in the Attic series. I continue to read the new novels that come out, even though they are not as good as the ones Virginia wrote herself. I liked "Olivia"- it entertained me. Besides Olivia, the characters weren't very developed. Olivia was cold, it was hard to feel anything for her after reading the previous books in the series. If you are a V.C. Andrews fan, I would recommend reading this book because it is the closest you can get to the real thing.
Rating: Summary: TERRIFFIC, AWSOME, WONDERFUL, EXCELLENT!! Review: AS EXPECTED THIS WAS ANOTHER TERRIFFIC BOOK WRITTEN BY V.C. ANDREWS. WHO CARES IF IT IS A GHOST WRITTER OR NOT? NOT ME. I'M JUST THANKFUL THAT YOU FOUND MR/MRS GHOST WRITTER WHO CAN WRITE IN THE SAME STYLE AS V.C. ANDREWS. I HOPE THAT THEY CONTINUE TO KEEP THESE BOOKS COMMING FOR YEARS TO COME. I KNOW THAT IT MUST HAVE BEEN DIFFICULT TO FIND SOMEONE WILLING TO ALLOW THEIR NAME TO BE HIDDEN AND TO GIVE ALL THE CREDIT TO ANOTHER PERSON DECEASED OR NOT. YOU HAVE FOUND AN AWSOME PERSON. KEEP UP THE WORK.
Rating: Summary: good, but late in coming Review: This book was good, but should have come before that ridiculous miniseries. Pretty much everything that happened was expected. Olivia should have been nicer to Samuel though. I think her love for Nelson was kind of weird, and she should have gotten over him.
Rating: Summary: Great!!! Review: I really enjoyed the book "Olivia". I had to go back and scan the previous books a little but after i familiarized myself...I understood why Grandma Olivia was so cruel. Some people ask why this book came out explaining "Olivia" now...but that's just V.C.Andrew style... we never know what awaits us! AVID FAN!!!
Rating: Summary: It was great Review: This one was a long time comming. Next time the ghostwriter should not write a new series until he is finished with the one he is working on. The book was although well worth the wait. It answered many of my questions about what was going on in the family. Keep up the great work.
