Rating: Summary: Teen Reader's Club from a Public Library in North Carolina Review: CH says: Cooney has done an excelent job revealing mischief, teen life and family interactions. I wanted more romance between Remy and Morgan, though. It's an excellent book and a warning to teens and recommend it to any teen. I give it five stars.
Rating: Summary: Teen Reader's Club from a Public Library in North Carolina Review: LA says: The beginning was boring but as the story went along I began to like the characters. I liked knowing what they would do. When they got caught their parents were mad but forgave them. I give it 4 stars.
Rating: Summary: Teen Reader's Club from a Public Library in North Carolina Review: MC says: When you read the book, you didn't think there was anything between Remy & Morgan, but there was. I didn't expect their moms to react the way they did. I felt along with Remy; Henry was the only one who really loved her. I was really surprized by Mack's reaction. He usually made fun of her. This is a good book to read because it builts the suspense from chapter to chapter. I give it five stars.
Rating: Summary: Teen Reader's Club from a Public Library in North Carolina Review: JL says: I felt like I was part of the book, not as a main character but as someone who was watching what was going on. It was heart-wrenching and heart-warming at the same time. I recommend it, 5 stars.KB says: Cooney showd a really life-like perspective. I recommend this to other reader, 5 stars.
Rating: Summary: This is an overall pretty good book, but there are problems. Review: This a very good book, but I believe a great deal of the reactions are unrealistic. Yes, there were many reactions displayed that were realistic but they just happen to be from the wrong people. I wouldn't expect a lot of the reactions from the type of people, like Morgan's father. I would expect more of a dumbfounded feel from him. I mean the man is running for governor, this could cost him the entire race. Otherwise this is a great book and recommend it to any of those up to a little "harmless" mischeif. It does definitely give you a little something to think about.
Rating: Summary: A different side of Cooney Review: This was a really great book. i enjoyed it but the thing was that the title sounded scary and I was really ready for scary. i even had popcorn and a really soft huggy bear to squeeze when it got good. But the bear was useless. It was about two high school students who steal a stop sign and as a result a lady has a wreck. I mean, come on Cooney! You hanve done better!
Rating: Summary: Great!!!!!!!!!! Review: This book kept me ont he edge of my seat all the way through.Morgon and Remy are just as if they are real people, people like you see on the street every day.The book made me relize that the things that I do in life can never be changed, never be undone.THe mistakes I make now will be there even if I say I'm sorry or try to forget.Mistakes can never be undone. This book made me relize that.
Rating: Summary: One of the best Review: I just got this book two days ago and I couldn't put it down. I'm going to keep this short and sweet. Cooney took real life and made it into a story. I cried along with Remy and Morgan. I wished that woman hadn't died. I was angry at Remy and Morgan along with their parents yet I understood and felt the hurt of their paarents rage with them. This book was so real I couldn't shake the feeling that the woman really had lived and died. It was like reading a cliping in a newspaper. This is a wonderful book!
Rating: Summary: A very different book than others by Cooney. Review: In Drivers Ed there seemed to be a group of dumb teenagers and a teacher who wasn't there. This book had no details so it didn't seem real like other Cooney books. Remy and Morgan were riding around with a person with a license and he wanted the sign so they got it for him then they were blamed for it. One of the only good points about this book is that you shouldn't make friends with people who are going to get you into trouble.. especially if it results in the loss of someones life
Rating: Summary: Gripping, leaves you at the end of your seat Review: Remy and Morgan, normal teenagers, trying to pass Driver's Ed. so they can get their licenses. In a moment of foolishness, a classmate dares his classmates, by annoucing that all students must steal a road sign before they can pass, with honours. Remy and Morgan steal a stop sign, not knowing the consequences. The authoress had done it again. Through her other books, we can clearly see, that she is a great suspense fiction writer, example "Flight #116 is down" and "Flash fire" Through intricate words and amazing coordination, Caroline B. Cooney writes a book filled with suspense, feeling and of course, love
