Summary: Very exciting, one of her best
Review: Ransom is one of my favorite books by Lois Duncan. It's a bit slow through the first two chapters, but the rest will keep you on the edge of your seat. You won't be able to stop reading. This is not only probably the best book Lois Duncan wrote, it's the best book I ever read. It all starts with a simple bus ride home from school. But, when the kids realize that they have a very suspicious bus driver..... I recommend this book for any reader, especially those who love suspence.

Summary: Outstanding book! Suspensful and a good book!
Review: This is one of Lois Duncan's best books ever! It has lots of suspense and action. I really never like Lois Duncan until I read this book. Now I love all of her books. This book is for kids that are an older age, but I encourage younger kids to read it. While reading the book you get to know the characters because they reveal so much personal information. I felt like I knew them forever! The best part is all the suspense. Right when you think you figured it out something happens out of nowhere! I could not put this book down! I had to read what happened next. Overall this book was one of the best I read and I recommend it to anyone.

Summary: RANSOM
Review: I give my book 4 stars.the book that i read was called Ransom by Lois Duncan,I thi=ought that the book was pretty good, I would tell other people to read the book. It makes you realize that you can't trust everyone, you have to be careful who you trust with your children. The story goes like this. The kids think that they are going home, and the bus driver had taken a wrong turn, he had told all of the kids on teh bus, that he was going to go and pick someone up. The bus driver picked up a scary looking man with dark clothes on, he got on the bus with a gun in his hand, and he told everyone on the bus that tey were all going up to his cabin in the mountains Then held RANSOM. The main characters in the book are Glenn, Dexter,Bruce, and Marianne. Glenn and Bruce are brothers, Marianne is a cheerleader, Dexter lives with his Uncle, who doesn't know that he has benn kidnapped, and Jesse is the daughter of a colonel. Marianne doens't think that her step dad is going to come through with the money for the Ransom that they were all in. There were quite a few gunshots and many arguments. For the most part i really liked the book, it was different. But overall I liked the book, I know that I would never want to be in that situation. Make sure that you always keep your doors locked and always look around you, and be careful who you get into a vehicle with!!!!

Summary: The best book yet (¤^_^¤)
Review: This was a hard to release book. It had every thing that any young adult reader would want in a story. I love Duncan's book and this one is one of the best if not the best of her collections. I thought that the five kidnapped, where very smart in getting out of a situation. My favorite was Dexter with his smarts and the bravery.

This book has a little bit of every thing. I strongly suggest this book to peeps that havent read it.

Summary: Confusing *^_^
Review: This is a story about five kids kidnapped for Ransom. Their names are: Mark, Dexter, Jesse, Bruce, and Glenn. I got confused with each persons profile... it's a very exciting book, with adventure and mystery. The parents get involved (at least one of them). If you like mystery, this is a good choice.

Summary: A suspense book that will leave you on the edge of your seat
Review: Once again, Lois Duncan has written a masterpiece. This terrifying page turner is about five children who are kidnapped for ransom. the sequences between captors and the children are taut and send a chill up your spine. At first, it makes you wonder if they are going to make it. One girl believes that her stepfather will not come in for her, but her father will. Another girl knows that her parents will not be able to obtain the ransom. A boy's uncle doesn't even know that his nephew's missing. Two brother's parents will do anything to get their children back. While their parents struggle to get the ransom, the children depserately try to escape from their captors. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a suspenseful chiller.
