Summary: FREAKY, GOTHIC, SCARY and VERY, VERY, VERY fun to read!!!
Review: In my sixth grade english class we had just finished reading "The Dollhouse Murders" and we were going to read this new book called "Down a Dark Hall. Before we started to read it we did some research on what the book's subject is "GOTHIC". Which if you read this book you will see all the elements through out it! It is one of the BEST books I have read!!! The main character Kit is upset that she has to stay at Blackwood Boarding School for girls. She also doesn't like the fact her friend isn't going. At the end of Chapter One she knows something is wrong. Later on the book you find out that there are only 4 students. THere she meets, Sandy, Lynda and Ruth. They all try to find out what's going on. Later on physco teachers Madame Duret, and Profeser Farley they're possessed by Issac Newton, Thomas Cole, and Franz Shubert. Also Kit falls for a guy there, Jules Duret. Madame's son. At the end of the novel with a big fire! If your looking for gothic, read this novel.

Review: This story is about a girl named Wendy Louis. One dayyyy Wendy has to go to an all boys school and she will be the only girl in an all boys school, she is soooo scared she doesnt know wut to do. Instaead of handling this like a normal adult she locks herself in her room and was never seen atgain. now the school is haunted. I liked this story becaus i know that i can always lock myself in the room when something is wrong

Review: Down a Dark Hall is a book where you don't want to stop reading. When I got home I kept on reading!I didn't really like the begining of the book. I didn't think it was so exciting. But the end was like a horror movie in a book! It got scary at the end because there was a power failure. I think this book was probaly one of the best books I have read in my entire life time! This book should have been a best sellar!

Review: Down a Dark Hall was an EXCELLENT book!:) I thought that is was the best book I have ever read because I like cliff hangers. The story was about a girl named Kit Gordy who was fourteen years of age. Her mom was getting remarried and getting ready to go on her honeymoon. Kit was sent away to an all girls school called Blackwood. But not anyone one in particular could go to the school. Each girl would have to take a "special" test. Whoever had what Madame Duret wanted... went to the school. Well, when the time came, the four girls that passed the test made it. Their names were Kit, Sandy, Ruth, and Linda. Each one of the girls had a special power called ESP. While attending the school, a famous person each took over their bodies. Franz Schubert took over Kit and Emily Bronte took over Linda. The rest of the girls were took over by more then one person. Down a Dark Hall was an excellent book. I am not going to tell you anymore so you are just goping to have to read it for yourself!:)( I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND IT!!)

Summary: Do You LIke Scarey Stories?¿?¿?
Review: If you like scarey stories, you should definitely read this book!It shows alot about true charecter of people and bravery these four girls go through.It shows how four total strangers befriend each other.I liked this book because it kept me up at night looking around wondering if anyone was there. I'm not going to tell you much because you should read it! My favorite part was when Kit (the main character)was outside just walking around when she saw a light in her room that she had previously turned off. So she ran upstairs to her room and her light was off. She noticed that a picture her friend drew of her was missing! This book is about supernatural forces and powers these four girls unlock! You should really read this book!

Review: This book was one of the best books I ever read. It really freaked me out!!! I liked the book soooooo much that I took out many other books by Lois Duncan, from the library, after I read it. They were, I Know What You Did Last Summer, Summer of Fear, They Never Came Home,Killing Mr. Griffin, and Don't Look Behind You (which I am just starting to read). I recommened this book for others. It is mostly for people who like reading spooky books. It is a wonderful book for kids 10 and up. It is about girls who go to a private school and many,many weird things start happening. I wont tell you anything else because then tere is no reason to buy the book!

Review: Down a Dark Hall was a pretty good book. It was about kids who went to a all girl school. They all hade ESP and could see the future. It was scary at times and was exciting too. It was scary because there was ghosts and was exciting because you did not now what was going to happen next. It was also cool. It was a good book and i think you should read it.

Review: This book is the best! I really enjoyed it very much. This book is about four girls named Kit, Sandy, Ruth and Lynda. These four girls have ESP which is like psychic powers. These girls are entered into a private school in Blackwood with the main teacher named Madame Durelle. Another teacher named Professor Farley and Madame Durelle's son named Jules teach these girls music, math, art, poetry. The bad part is that the students with their powers of ESP and the teachers are connecting with ghosts that are taking over the students. Each one of the girls has one of the skills of art, math, music, and poetry. In the girls' dreams, the ghosts talk to the students. I really enjoyed this book and maybe other people will enjoy it as much as I do.

Review: Down A Dark Hall was very suspenceful because you didn't now what is going to happen next. There were 4 children named Kit, Ruth, and Linda and susan and they all have a sepecial gift. THis book i hilly recomend for children over 12. There are gost and other cool stuff that happens so read.
