Summary: I had to force myself to finish it...
Review: This was simply one of the worst ideas that Stephen King has had. It was way to hokey to really grasp the attention of the reader. It is understandable that King came up with this idea. If I were King, I, too, would fear that my dark half would come to life and stalk me. However, I do not think that King's, or anyone else's dark half would come out being a deteriorating wannabe badass. This book would be a wonderful B-Movie. I've not seen the movie, but the quality of this story fits the B rating. Normally I can read King's books in no time flat; it took me a month to finally force myself to finish this book. Perhaps this would be a good horror novel for someone who is just getting ready to break away from R.L. Stine.

Summary: The Stuff Nightmares are Made of !!
Review: A truly remarkable piece of workmanship. A Master in his domain. A horror tale that all writers, no matter what you write, should read. The breaking loose of an alter ego of a popular writer is the beginning of a string of gruesome murders. The only person who can stop it is the very man who spawned the psychotic abomination. Beautiful! It kept me sleepless for nights, and I loved every minute of it! It holds a special scare for us other writers.

Summary: I Couldn't put it down to even get some sleep
Review: I love this book & have read it 3 times and seen the movie twice, the book is better than the movie, but in(my opinion)all of Stephen Kings books are better than the movies that are based on the book. This is definately one ya must read! Also I OWN the book! and yes it's hard to find, good luck.

Summary: I've still got goose bumps!!!!!
Review: This one was by far the best he's ever written. I Could not put this one down. George Stark was a part of Thad's imagination that made me wander what exactly was going through the mind of Stephen King and if it was really this demented. I still get scared every time I see a flock of birds on the ground. Definately do not read this book at night and try not to be alone when you read it, it's not for the squeemish or ther young. However if you like being scared the way I do than make the time to read it. Keep the popcorn and soda within arms reach and don't put it down for even a minute!!!!!!!

Summary: Except maybe for The Stand, the BEST KING BOOK!
Review: I reitirate my statement above as I feel that the Dark Half is one of his gretest achievements. He makes the reader get completely involved in the story line and brings each of his characters to life with the utmost of skill. The suspense and fear gradually increases through the plot to a climaxtic BANG right at the end. More of the same please....

Summary: Two are not always better than one!
Review: A very good fast read. Stark is a great character. King always seems to make one character in his books stand out farther than anyone else. Stark was my farorite in this one. Read the book, but stay away from the movie.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Chilling, surprising, thriller, one of King's best
Review: About a writer,Thad Beaumont, who comes face to face with a fictional charactor that he created. Thad is accused of the mass murders that his creation has commited. I was always wondering what was going to happen next. In my opinion, this is, third to Misery and Carrie, King's best.

Rating: 5 stars
