Summary: Very good book, exciting too
Review: I thought that The Dark Half, by Stephen King, i a very goodpiece of work. One of the reasons I liked the book so much is that itis full of nail biting excitment. You never whats going to happen next, and can't wait for it to happen.

Also the villian in the book, George Stark, is one of the meanist, and most interesting villian that ever came out of Kings head.

This book should fall upon his best works, and have good reveiws no matter who reads it.

Summary: Gripping, intense, and heartstopping!
Review: If you are a true Stephen King fan (and I have been reading himfor many years), this book is one not to be missed! It flows soeffortlessly from beginning to end without a pause, that you will want to read until you have finished it. However, I would give the movie version a miss, as it loses something in the translation. But for avid reader's of this brilliant writer, this book is one to own, and read time and time again.

Summary: One of King's most Uninspired Works to Date
Review: Being a Stephen King fan for years, I was completely disappointed when I read the first King book I didn't like (I later read Skeleton Crew, which was also quite bad). The charcters were drawn poorly, the horror was of the most generic and expected variety, and the plot was really lacking. For the first time, King writes like an amateur, and it's as if he is writing to overcome his boredom, as a time-filler. Even die-hard King fans can skip this one without remorse

Summary: PSYCHALOGICAL AND PARANORMAL:THE BEST OF KING
Review: THIS NOVEL GRABS THE READERS INTEREST BY GETTING INTO THE CREATIVE WORLD OF A WRITER. KING THEN USES THE PARANORMALITY OF THE SPARROWS AND THEIR MYSTICAL ASSOCIATION WITH DEATH TO ENCOURAGE THE READER TO RACE WITH BEAUMONT TO THE END OF THIS HEART-POUNDING THRILLER. THIS SELECTION IS WORTHY OF BEING NAMED, "OF KING'S BEST."

Summary: One of King's most gripping tales!
Review: King can make a good book without using a gore fest! This is one of King's most suspenseful tales ever. The characters are told wonderfullly, and George Stark is way cool by far. His coolness is a great asset to his character

Summary: The reveiw of "It".
Review: "It" is a compelling book, no doubt if not his best, it was one of King's best. The children, who are Richie, Bill, Eddie, Ben, Beverly, and Stan, are so real it is like remembering your own past. "It" is scary and interesting, especially the many forms It takes and how it scares them. A sure fire heart pounder...-ANONYMOUS

Summary: A gripping tale!! A solid effort from King!!
Review: What I really liked about this book was how the reader kept switching from Thad Beaumont's mind into George Stark's mind. I was envisioning King writing the book when Beaumont was the center of the story, and Richard Bachman writing when Stark was the center of the story. George Stark has to be one of the scariest creatures ever invented by Stephen King.

Summary: One of King's best books
Review: As a horror writer, I often mentally go places normal people just would not go. Those deep, dark places in the back of your mind where the monsters hide. But what if those deep, dark places were real? The Dark Half answers that question as only King can. I tend to favor King's more concise works, and this is one of my favorites. The tension builds slowly and methodically, like a jungle cat slowly stalking its unwary prey, until the climatic ending pounces on you out of nowhere. The reader is left with the terrifying question at the end, what if we aren't alone in our minds, and who else is there? This is required reading for Horror 101. A classic.

Summary: A terrific Stephen King classic!
Review: I love this book because Stephen King penned one of my most favorite villains, George Stark, a bold, witty but mean son of a gun. Even in the midst of the most evil of his acts, the man can come off with a rather dark sense of humor, as is witnessed in a grotesque aftermath of the murder of a man who tried to extort the main character. There are so many good scenes in this book that I could just go on. To sum it all up: the plot is original, suspenseful. Stephen King is at the top of his form here. The action leads to a very satisfying conclusion in the end. I highly recommend it.

Summary: Not my favorite
Review: Something about the sparrows bothered me. I didn't care for that angle. The rest of the story was great; but the sparrows thing didn't do it for me. The premise and plot were outstanding and very tense; but I would have preferred that King used another modus operandi for dealing with Stark.
