Summary: Wonderful Book! Read it now!
Review: Around 1990 when I was twelve years old, I read this book and it began an addiction to horror and mystery books that I have to this day. Although I have read hundreds of mass market paperbacks since then, I still consider this book to be my favorite. You don't have to be twelve years old to like this book, though. I'm twenty and I still love it!

Summary: just one of the greatest ghost stories ever
Review: Shari Cooper is a believable heroine, despite the fact she is speaking to her readers as a ghost. I am a 22-year-old English major, and still count this as one of my favorite books. Although the book does drag in spots, overall it is as touching as it is chilling. And only "Gone with the Wind" can boast of a better final line.

Summary: It taught me to love to read
Review: I was maybe 12 when I first read this book. Being classified a "young adult" novel, I was excited to read it. It made me feel older. The story and the characters awakened something inside of me that had been dormant for a long time. It made me realize that I loved to read! Now I'm 17 and reading all the classics, and great modern novels that most kids my age roll their eyes at. Even now, I can still appreciate the feeling I get from reading a great book. I certainly recommend this book for anyone who isn't already an avid reader, because this should prompt you to turn a new leaf. I also recommend this to current avid readers along the simple principle that it is a good read. Have fun! :)

Summary: My favorite of all time-- and I'm 24
Review: I first read this book when I was 15. Now the cover is tornoff and the binding has been glued together because I have read itrepeatedly and lent it repeatedly. The story is a beautiful fantasy mystery. It is fun to read as well as touching. I love Pike's style of writing. I also recommend Last Act, Fall into Darkness, Sati, and Season of Passage.

Summary: Most Enjoyable Book of All Time!
Review: This book was very exciting. A great mystery without all the gore of usual mysteries. I found the story and especially the ending incredible! This is a perfect book for all ages, and a perfect book for anyone, even if you don't like mysteries. This will keep you on the edge of your seat begging for more. You won't be able to put it down until the conclusion. Take this advice from me, I normally never read books and this one was so great I couldn't stop talking about it for weeks! Read it, you'll be surprised.
