Summary: Completely satiating...!
Review: From the very start to the very finish your breath will be caught in your throat. Dark Corner was everything you've always wanted in a horror novel- love, excitement, compassion for the bad guy, fear of the bad guy and a great ending. This was a great read and I am now a true fan of Mr. Massey's. And did I mention FEAR of the bad guy. :-)

Review: I was mesmerized by the book and read Dark Corner from cover to cover. It was fabulous!!!! I really enjoyed it and I loved the different twist that was placed on vampires. The book made me eager to turn each page and I'm looking forward to a sequel. Excellent work -- I loved it, I loved it!

Summary: Dark Corners - Brandon Massey
Review: I've just finished reading Dark Corner. It was excellent. I can't wait until they release a movie about it. It was one of the best vampire books that I have read in a long time. It is very unusual for a book to be written on vampires, revolving around a black community and written by a black author. Sure there was Blackula and Blade, but this was in the true essay of the old vampire flicks. Massey is very talented. He makes you feel like you are right there while the story is being told. I'm looking forward to many great things from Massey. Watch out Stephen King, your time to step aside is near.

Review: Let me start off by saying I read a new book each week and Dark Corner had me on the edge of my seat. It was good to the last word. Anyone would enjoy the depth of Mr. Massey. I'm sitting in wait for one of his main players to return. (Dont make us wait to long :)lol). Review: Take a journey to the south and learn things you never thought you would. If you love vampire tales, this is the book for you. But don't come to the table/bed, or wherever you prefer to read thinking of the vamps of Ann Rice or "Buffy" because you won't find them here. This is a totally different take on the vampire and one that does not disappoint. I loved it and could not put it down. Don't read it alone in the dark--or the light.

As a vampire junkie, I'm always looking for a fresh view of the genre and boy did Brandon deliver with this tale! Dark Corner is truly frightening and never once turns into your standard bite-em-up.
