Summary: Review of the Orphans Series
Review: As a big fan of VC Andrews, I always enjoy her books. The orphan series, as well as the recent books written under the VC Andrews name does not have the twisted plot as the first books actually written by VC Andrews. Orphans was an interesting series giving people a glimpse into the lives of 4 girls and the problems associated with the lifestyle their parents chose to lead. The series was differently written in that the girls are telling their stories to each other in the safe haven of their therapists office.

Summary: Help Me Iget no sleep cause its great BOOK!!
Review: Can it get worse than being an orphan most of your life? And then a family adopting you and...what then? These four stories show that sometimes finding a family isn't all that it's cracked up to be. Families have issues, problems, arguments, tragedy...

I really enjoyed all four of these mini-books in one big collection. I don't think I would have enjoyed them if they were seperated. The stories kind of built off of each other. I really enjoyed watching these girls struggle to be themselves & to get through their own seperate tragedies & obstacles. I couldn't wait for some of the characters who were nasty to get what was coming to them.

The characters were developed pretty well & the stories flowed at a perfect pace, not dragged out or made to read too quick.

Flowers in the Attic series is still my fav. though!

Summary: Fabulous Reading!
Review: I love V.C. Andrews, especially the Orphans series. I hate reading, I feel that there are other things that I could spend my time on that are more productive, so to say that when I came across this book series that I couldn't put it down must mean something. I was immediately entranced with the dealings of the poor girls in these short stories. Each story plays with a different part of your emotions, and that's probably what kept me interested for so long. Any person passionate about reading should find this an excellent read.

Review: I think you may have been mistaking the Orphans series with the Wildflowers series. In the Orphans series, no one shares their stories with each other through a therapist.

Summary: A Terrible Idea
Review: It was a terrible idea for V. C. Andrew's ghostwriter to print four of the old stories again in one volume. They weren't good to begin with, and all the ghostwriter changed was the cover! It was just a scam so the ghostwriter could get more money in V. C.'s name... why are the Orphans series get put in the Adult Horror section anyway? They're not even scary, and they're written for 9 year olds! I mean, all that happens is that four girls get bad foster parents- that's hardly horrific! Big deal.

Summary: Worthy of Reading for some key insight
Review: My mother had read this book, so I wanted to read some stories that captured her. I learned a lot...there are four different stories here about four different orphans and how their lives were turned upside down. It's sentimental and there are some worthwhile lines that you'll find 'in between'. However, it's not classic literature by any means. I enjoyed it for the fun, knowing my mom related to the stories. I'm thankful that I made the time to read and find hidden messages for myself.
