Rating: Summary: The Best Koontz Book Review: As a HUGE fan of Koontz, I have read nearly everything that he has written (that I know of). I read pretty much everything of his within a year, so some of the stories tend to run together because I read them all in such a short time. However, this is one of the few that really stands out as being the most original. I really enjoyed the characters in this book, because I was about the same age as Slim when I read it; and I identified with him a lot. I liked the 1st Person writing through the first part of it, which is something that Koontz rarely does, and gave this book it's own identity in that regard. You will not regret reading this book.
Rating: Summary: Truth Review: This book is not that far from the truth, though not as bloody. email at zindugi786@aol.com to find out why
Rating: Summary: One of Koontz's best Review: The main character lives in a carnival and he has the ability to "see" the true nature of people. He sees that some of the population are really not human at all but some sort of an alien porcine like race that are secretly conspiring to hurt mankind. The plot is Twilight Zone esque and that is what made it appealing to me.
Rating: Summary: Dissapointing ending Review: I've read two of Koontz' novels. It seems he often comes up with an interesting premise, which in the scond half of the book is ruined by preposterous and anti-climatic endings. I felt the same way about 'Cold Fire.' When the true nature of the Goblins is reaveled in this book, I thought to myself 'is that all they really are?' My imagination had dreamed up all sorts of interesting ideas only to be shot down by Koontz' less than amazing imagination. Perhaps Koontz fans like these sort of endings, but they are not for me.
Rating: Summary: EyeOpening! Review: This book tells it like it is! Full of suspense and wonder.
Rating: Summary: Dean Koontz's greatest book Review: I thought Twilight Eyes was one of the best books I have bought and read. I think that Dean Koontz should be recognized more than he does. I like Stephen King, but I LOVE Dean Koontz. Other favorites of mine are The Bad Place, Strange Highways, Sole Survivor, Phantoms, Fear Nothing, Seize the Night, and many others. But Twilight Eyes is my personal favorite. Slim Mackenzie was a exciting, alive, charecter and Rya and Joel Tuck were great, too.
Rating: Summary: Spin Chilling Adventure Review: I am not the kinda person who can sit down and read a book, but a friend gave me this book to read and i couldn't put it down. The way he describes the characters in this book is amazing, and really gets your imagination working. It almost scares you. After i read this book i had to read more. Kootnz is a very talented writer. Out of all the books i have read i definitly say this is the best. If your not much of a reader and you want to read an exciting and thrilling book then i think you should start with this one. You won't be able to put the book down. It will make you start thinking about what people are really like under that human disguse!
Rating: Summary: A Truely Great Book Review: This is my favorite book of Koontz. The views of people in this book are very strange but very fun to think about. This book is right up there with "Watchers"
Rating: Summary: Twilight Eyes: What a Canival of Terror! Review: You'll be pulled-in further as each page turns. A great piece of writing; as it slyly weaves together the behind-the-scenes life of society outcasts together with believable goblins, and frail human sacrifice and caring. Get ready to take the slow roller-coaster of terror; suspense and drama before the decent, and be ready as the cutting-edge chills will whiplash you with no mercy to the final chapter!
Rating: Summary: Wow! Review: Twilight Eyes was absolutely phenomenal. This was the 5th Dean Koontz book I have read and it is the best so far. I loved the way that Dean went in such detail when describing the characters. You really feel like you are looking right at them. This is filled with action and romance that will keep you flipping pages (literally) to the very end. I strongly suggest you pick up Twilight Eyes now. I also reccomend "The House of Thunder" and "Darkfall".
