Review: This is my favorite book. I do read it at least once a year. It appeals to so many styles of writing, from period, to action, suspense , thriller, love story, historical...it has it all. I highly recommend it ! In fact when I get my copy back from a friend who I lent it to , I'm going to read it again ! Wish it was a movie ! Hey Mr Spielberg check it out

Summary: WORLD WAR II WEREWOLF ADVENTURE
Review: This is the first novel I have read from this author, and I have to tell you - it won't be my last! Now I've read and still read alot of different type genre's, and this one was quite unique. I have seen this author's books for quite some time but for some reason never gave him a try. But after seeing all of the positive feedback on this Amazon.com website, I decided to give him a try. I purchased this novel and two others titled - MINE and SWAN SONG, which I will comment on when I have finished them. Now the WOLFS HOUR was a very great adventure/spy story with great and believable characters. I felt like I was watching one of those black and white old-time movies staring Greta Garbo or something. Mr. McCammon can sure take you back and has a nack for detail but not the boredom type. The pace is always going and action galore. All this mixed with another storyline of where this hero came from and how he became what he is was all intriguing and fun to read unfolding. This is great storytelling with hours of pleasure. A human werewolf in the midst of world war II? A spy with a russian background? Wow, who would have thunk it! Incredible read - and would make an incredible movie to this day!

Review: I could not put this book down. After reading Swan Song I immediately began to read Wolf's Hour. Robert McCammon is truly a gifted and imaginative writer. His stories are so detailed that you feel as though you can picture everything. I am going to purchase any other of his books that are available.

Review: Robert R McCammon is indeed a gifted writer and this story rips along at breakneck speed. I would highly recommend it to anyone how likes a good action story and to top it all off it is an awesome twist on the traditional werewolf story. But is there a sequel to come? McCammon left the door open my friends.

Review: Fantastic book - could not put it down. Very "James Bond" with a werewolf twist. I think this is on a par with Swan Song in terms of brilliance, and better than Boys Life. Definately the best book I have read to date, highly recommended.

Review: I cant believe it took me so long to find The Wolf's Hour! I read it years ago and loved it but couldnt remember the author or name of the book. I finally found it again and it is as good as I remembered it. And the Author is the one and same as my other all time favorite-Swan Song! I hope in the near future that their will be a sequel.

Review: I read this book shortly after reading swan song. It comes in a very close second. I now only wish that we could all read a sequel to this wonderfully written story. Something involving the outcome of Mikhails' son preferably. Maybe one day it will happen.

I'm only 14 and I have read The Wolf's Hour 6 times already and I want to read it again!(I've only ever borrowed the book).I love this book because I love wolves and I've always been into werewolf and secret agent novels.I also love this book because it gives a very detailed insight into the life of a werewolf.It was also very genious of Robert R McCammon to put certain people in the book like Hitler and Rommel.It made the book very interesting.
