Summary: I think that this is the best book I have read!
Review: It keeps you in suspense and you can't put it down. I am in the middle of the sequal right now and it is even better. I like books that are frightening and keep you in suspense. I have read most of his books and I like the Fear Street sequals the best.

Review: Crystal Barker Written Communications Hour 4 3/4/99 Book Review R.L. Stine's book, "The Baby-sitter," is one of the best horror books that I have ever read. The book overall catches your eye by the cover and makes you want to check it out and read it. When I first saw it, it caught my eye and I wanted to start reading it. Once I had started reading it, I was hooked, and I never wanted to put it down until I found out what happened to the girl at the end. The main character was a girl named Julie. She was fifteen, pretty popular, and was known through her neighborhood by pretty much everybody. The book took place in a small suburban neighborhood that was known for being a quiet and peaceful place to live. On cold dark nights the neighborhood looks empty and deserted as nobody was ever out. It was dark, because they had only a few light poles on their main street. The book was written for people around the age of ten, through about nineteen. It wasn't a very hard book to read, the words weren't difficult to understand. It caught my interest by giving little clues, but not telling me what was going to happen next. Overall it was one of the best R. L. Stine books I have ever read.

Summary: Best Book I Ever Read
Review: This is the best book I have ever read. I don't usually read R.L. Stine, but this book looked good so I bought it. If you are thinking of buying it, it's a good idea because it is REALLY GOOD. It was very suspenceful and it makes you want to read on. I couldn't put it down. The best part about the book was the cliffhangers. After every chapter there was an awesome cliffhanger!!!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A very gripping and hard to put down book.
Review: This book leaves you hanging. Author R.L. Stine puts a mental picture in your head. If you enjoy thrillers, this is your book. I believe it is the best of the series. This novel is gripping for kids ages 10-15. I read this book when I was 8. It is not extremely hard to read, either. I have been a fan of R.L. Stine and I believe that this is his best book yet. For the price, it is worth it. It is a book that keeps you endulged and is hard to put down. This book is in some ways like the film "Scream". If you are not a horror fan though, you will probably not like this book. All in all, this book is extremely good. It deserves this rating.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: The Babysitter was a major page turnner.
Review: I enjoyed the book The Baby-Sitter by: R.L. Stine. I only didn't like the ideas that it put into my head about babysitting, but I mostly enjoyed it. It was definately a page turner. I am also convinced that R.L. Stine is the best childrens horror novelist. I don't usually enjoy horror novels but I for the most part enjoyed The Baby-Sitter. I would recomend this book to children who enjoy Goosebumps and horror novels. Probably best if read when you are about ten to twelve years old. If you don't like scary book then I don't suggest you reading this one. I hope you check it out it also has a secuil The Baby-Sitter Two. If you enjoyed the Baby-Sitter then I would suggest that you read the babysitter two.
