Rating: Summary: Couldn't put it down! Review: I read this book quite some time ago and thought it was great...suspenceful, surprising, the whole nine yards. However, I would not recommend reading the rest of the books in this series. It gets kind of repetitous and annoying. Just this first book will give you the idea of the theme for these books.
Rating: Summary: An Actual Thiller That Acutually Thrills You! Review: This book was so thrilling! It just kept me going and going. I couldn't put down the book!At the end of the chapter, there is always a sentence that makes you want to read on and on. In the story, these phone calls from a man comes and when I was reading this book at home alone, whenever the phone rang, it made me jump! I read all four of the Baby-Sitter books, and I think the first one is the most realistic. That's why the first one is my favorite. Also, the person who makes the phone calls was Mr. Hagan. I never thought of that. I was so shocked by this. R.L Stine only tells you who made these calls only at about 3 pages away from the end. All the way through, I thought the Willers were the people who made the phone calls, but he was the officer that helped Jenny at the end. I just think this book is awesome, and if you liked the first one, read the rest of the series too!
Rating: Summary: An Excellent Thriller!!! Review: This book is great because R.L. Stine doesn't have to put lots of violence in this book to make it interesting. It's more mystery than violent.
Rating: Summary: An Excellent Thriller!!! Review: This book is a very good book!!! And I like it because R.L. Stine doesn't have to get into lots of violence to make this book interesting.
Rating: Summary: A NON-STOP SCARY PAGE-TURNER! Review: When I started to read "The Babysitter" I realized I couldn't put it down. I read it very quickly. The synopsis of "The Babysitter" is: When Jenny first starts taking the new babysitting job at the Hagen's she knows its trouble from the start,She is recieving deadly threats and notes. She comes up with only one suspect, her boyfriend who claims it wasnt him but can she learn to trust him or is his evil side taking over? Is Jenny letting her imagination take control of her? Find out in the Heart-stopping ending of "The Babysitter". I would reccomend this book to anyone who like horror flix and surprise ending!
Rating: Summary: The Babysitter Review Review: Jenny is being harrassed by threatening phone calls and letters. The phone calls and letters always happening when she is babysitting. She thinks it is her boyfriend Chuck. Who else could it be? I think this book was boring. And hardly any action at all. Nothing really exciting was ever happening, except when she got the phone calls. The ending is alright, it had the most suspense, hardly at that. The Babysitter, in my mind, is not a horror story and it didn't frighten me at all.
Rating: Summary: A story that could happen in real life!!! Review: Jenny knew that babysitting for the Hagen's son, Donny, was the worst mistake she ever made. The house looks like it came out of a horror movie, and the neighbor, Mr. Willers, is becoming suspicious. That's when she starts receiving the threatening phone calls. She knows about the babysitter attacks that's been in the news lately. Will Jenny become the attacker's next victim? The Baby-Sitter is one of R.L. Stine's best novels. What I really loved about this book is that it could happen in real life. I mean, how many girls out there who babysit have these thoughts about an escaped lunatic or a killer hiding down in the basement, waiting for the right moment to get them? An excellent, creepy story. Even though I'm 22 years old, I love R.L. Stine books. There are even some that scare me to the bone (honestly). Hey, I know you're laughing at me! There are adults out there who do read R.L. Stine. Honest to god!!!
Rating: Summary: A Scary Story For You. Review: When I first got this book I thought it was going to be a little scary like the "Goosebumps " series, but I thought wrong. This book started out boring, but it started to get exciting.I can't tell you what happens in the story is about because I'll riun the suprise at the end. I loved theending because the person youleast expect was the killer. It shocked me when Ifoun out who the killer was.
Rating: Summary: Someone's Trying To Kill Her Review: This is a very cool book that keeps you reading it. I mean, you just can't put it down. Jenny Jeffers is a teenage girl who starts baby-sitting for the Hagens' little boy, Donny. Since that moment, she starts receiving threatening phone calls. She even starts thinking that Donny is the one calling her. Is he? You'll have to read this book to find out the answer to that and other mysterious things that go on in the book. You really should buy this book or go check it out at the library. I reccommend this book to everyone who likes thrilling books.
Rating: Summary: Wonderful! Review: This book was so good. I read it in 2 days because I couldn't put it down! Of course I havn't had a baby-sitting job since.
