Summary: IF YOU LIKE SCARY BOOKS...
Review: This book was the scariest book I've ever read. You'll never be able to guess the ending! It's suspensful, surprising, incredibly well written, and you'll love it! As soon as I finished this book, I put it down beside me and I just sat there, doing nothing, because it gave me such a jolt! I HIGHLY recommend this to anyone who likes scary books and even to anyone who doesn't! The Babysitter is the story of a girl named Jenny who takes a babysitting job for a sweet little boy, but soon she starts getting threatening phone calls and it becomes a job of terror! 5 STARS!

Summary: Babysitting SCARES
Review: Have you ever wondered how horrible babysitting could be? I'm not talking about the kids either. In the book, "The Babysitter", Jenny Jeffers runs into some babysitting problems, literally. The man she is babysitting for is acting weird, she is getting creepy phone calls, and every time they say the same thing "Hi babes it's me!"
Jenny doesn't know who it is or why her or even what they want with her. All she knows is that they won't stop and that they keep getting her more scared every time. If you want to know more about it read the book. And the more books you read the more you'll like it. So I'll recomend that if you read the first book also read books, 2,3,4. When you read books by R.L. Stine, he has a way to suck you in and not let go untill the end of the book. So read them all to get a complete scare!!!

Summary: Someone knows Jenny is alone, and he is coming
Review: Total suspence! The third one STINKS though. But this one ROCKS! Seriously, buy it now. I loved it! If you are looking for a mild OR scary horror book, this is the one. Let me read you a clippit.

"Dont worry jenny, company's coming. Ill be there soon then the fun will really begin." a raspy voice whispered into the phone. she/he knew Jenny was alone and he was coming...

"run Jenny, run" she thought. she wasnt fast enough. she couldnt outrun her/him...

(culprit) through her/his head and laughed a crazy, exaggerated laugh. Jenny tried to move away from the edge of the quarry. But he was still blocking her way...she didnt know how much longer she could stand with nothing but air behind her...she/he ran tword Jenny and gave her a hard push.

Summary: Who Ever He Is, He Is Out To Get Her
Review: There is a girl named Jenny that is looking for a summer job. The Hagens are also looking for a babysitter. Later on Jenny met the Hagens and stated babysitting Donny for them. She baby-sits two nights a week that is on Thursdays and Saturdays. Donny is six. Jenny is fifteen. The Hagens have a big two-story house and only two houses live near them. One of the houses no one lives in, and the second one the Hagens have never seen or talked to them. The Hagens moved there two weeks ago. Mrs. Hagen takes Mr. Hagen out twice a week because he gets so nervous when they have a babysitter. They go out to parties and to friend's houses. Every night Jenny baby-sits she gets these phone calls that say: HEY BABES, ARE YOU ALL ALONE IN THAT BIG HOUSE? COMPANYS COMING AND THEN THE FUN WILL START. While she is there she hears footsteps, things in the backyard, and people knocking on the door and she doesn't know who it is. The person who is out to get her is... READ IT AND YOU'LL KNOW WHOM!
I like this book because it is mysterious. I also like scary books. I didn't give it five stars because whenever something bad happens it isn't someone scary and it is a lame excuse. I got scared sometimes and I wanted to stop reading it but I didn't. I always wanted to stop at the end of a chapter but every end of a chapter something cool or scary happened and I would want to see what happened.
I recommend this book to people who like mysteries and don't get scared easily. I don't recommend it to people who get scared easily because it is scary and you might get nightmares.

Summary: Someone Wants Her Dead!
Review: This is a very cool book. It has mystery, horror, and suspense in it. That's the reason this is one of the best books I've read. It all started one night when Jenny Jeffers started baby-sitting Donny Hagen, a six year old boy who liked to play tricks on her. One night Jenny received a phone call saying, "babes, all alone in that big house? Don't worry company's coming." The next day she received the same phone call. One night she caught Donny with the phone in his room just after she had received the phone call. She asked him why he was playing those tricks on her, but he kept saying he did not. Jenny needed to find out who was really making the phone calls. She needed to find out before it was too late.

Summary: a very suspenseful book
Review: I thought that this was a very suspenseful book. The book had a very interesting plot the story was suspenseful and the characters were interesting. I think that this book was more scary than a goosebumps book. I think R.L. Stine writes great suspense stories for kids.

Summary: not so good
Review: Being a big fan fo R.L Stine I was disapointed that this book, didn't grab any of my attention. You mostly have to waite till the end to get to any good part. The end was fairly good, but not surprising. However It maybe a book to read on a rainy day.

Summary: R.L. Stine-Our great Horror Writer
Review: The Baby-Sitter is a great book. I was so plugged into it that I finished the book in six hours (probably would have finished it earlier but I was at school!). One of Stine's best books.
