Review: This book is wonderful, especially for children. It is a fun book, another book that lets the reader dive into imagination. I thought the book was detailed and creative. I wrote to Clive Barker myself, he is a very good man. The descriptiveness of his writing is amazing, especially since it is coming straight from his imagination. The characters were well put together and gave me a good firm image of what they looked like and what their personality was.

Review: I first read this book in 7th grade, it was the first book that I had actually enjoyed. The imagination that it sparked was awesome. Because of this book I am now(10 years later)an avid reader.

Review: to tell you the truth, i already read this fantastic book when i was about 11 or so. i've lost my copy(SHOCK AND HORROR) and have ordered another one to re-read a few times while i wait for the 4th harry potter! this is a truly brilliant book that you just have to read to understand!

Review: How can a book of this magnitude not be appreciated for what it is...a wonderful depth into another world. Clive Barker has outdone himself with this novel. I must admit, I was surprised to know that the creator of such a movie as "Hellraiser" was also responsible for a book that can be easily read by an early teen. I must admit, I am truly interested to see how they pull this one off as a motion picture.

Review: At first I found this book boring, but I really started to get into it. I am kind of a picky reader, but this book was such a great book, I was able to finish the last 100 pages in less than an hour. This book was very well written. I could see hear everything that went on in my mind. I think anyone who likes action or sci-fi should read this book.

Review: This book is not just for young adults, I truly enjoyed it. I didnt want to put it down. I lent it to a friend to read and never got it back and I miss it cause its a book I would read over again. It didnt take me long to finish it. So if you have not read it, I reccomend this book to anyone who enjoys horror/suspense books.
