Summary: Downhill from here.
Review: I was with the character of Ruby up until this book. But when she assumed her comatose's sister's identity I think that was it for me.

I tried reading later novels, specifically the Orphans series, but those turned out to be teen novels.

Do yourself a favour and just reread the first three series and "My Sweet Audrina" -- they're ten times as enjoyable as anything that comes afterwards.

Summary: What? please not again!!!
Review: As with many books writen by Virginia Andrews this book follows the life and love of Ruby when her world is turned upside down. The story follows the same basic formulae of all her books. Heroine (as all the stories are about girls) falls in love with someone she shouldn't and has to give him up. In the mean time the heroine is made pregnant and the question of will she survive the blows that fate will give her. Will she see the man she loves again or will he walk out her life? The endings are nearly all the same and predictable. Left open for another just as simple sequel.

Summary: A Must Read Book
Review: This was probably one of the best books, I've ever read. It was suprising with a great twist. It gave you anwers from the first book, Ruby, yet it left with even more questions. It was defintley quite a book. One you can't put down after the first page. The type that if you leave home with out it you buy another copy just beacause you can't go that long without it. This was defintley one of V.C. Andrews best. This is without a doubt is defintley a no brainer, you have to read this book!

Summary: A Sad, yet Beautiful Story
Review: This was the very first V.C Andrews book I read. I didnt read the first two books of this family saga before, but as I read this book I found it very interesting. The rich detail in the book is a great setting for a V.C Andrews novel. It is a sad story, and you might be torn up on deciding who would be better off with Ruby, (Paul or Beau.) I do think that any reader will sympathize with Ruby because of the the difficult conflicts in her life.

Summary: Very Well Done
Review: This is the third book in the Landry series, it's main character Ruby is near poverty and agrees to marry Paul her secret half-brother. They settle down to a quasi-normal life when she discovers her twin sister has married Beau the father of her baby and her only true love. This sets off a chain of events that leads into tragedy. I liked this book because the heroine is not a total goody two shoes her own desires lead her to do things that are not that nice in her struggle to survive. It has a bittersweet and emotional ending that will make you smile

Summary: A peaceful rest
Review: This book has brought to me a sense of love and power. It made me really see how people can love and love and be happy no matter what the living condition may be. Yet there are people who are rich and richer and have no peace of mind or happiness in their life. This book is the best of the best and I would love it if everyone took a chance to read it. Understanding the meaning underneath the tragedies the power of love, money, wealth, social class, lies, and honesty can do for ones body and soul. I recommend this book to everyone and anyone who has an open heart and soul.
