Summary: Great Series
Review: If you haven't read the Necrosope series - what are you waiting for? This series takes the well worn vampire topic and puts a spin on it. A little bit of horror, little fantasy, and a lot of suspense make for a great story. I recommned starting with the first Necrosope and working your way through the series.

Summary: The Moonraker of the Necro-novels
Review: Of all of the Necroscope novels . . .this installment took a little getting used to at first. If the first Necroscope novel was From Russia With Love . . .Defilers is Moonraker. (Not everyone's all time favorite, but a heck of a lot of fun! )

All the elements are in place for a fantastic conclusion. Mr. Lumley only gives the reader the briefest glimpses of the three Wamphyri: Molinari, Swartz, and Vavara...but when we do see them and as their plot begins to unfold.... WATCH OUT!

This only helps the newest story! It's clever writing on Brian's behalf. It will leave Necroscope fans clammering for more! No spoilers here, but once the story starts picking up speed... it never lets up.

Our new Necroscope is having his own issues that many readers will have a feeling of deja vu. (It's Deadspeak and Deadspawn all over again many will cry! But is it?)

In Britain, this series was titled E-Branch: Invaders, Defilers... which makes sense as we get to see more in depth characterizations of the team's various members. The continuing development of our old friends works wonderfully well in this outing.

All in all, this is a fine addition to the Necroscope family of novels and will no doubt help paint what will become the final tapestry.

Wonderful cliffhanger ending that will have many readers screaming for Necroscope: Avengers!

The pieces are all in place for that final whiz-bang of an adventure! There are so many possible story lines it can take! I myself can hardly wait! So far this has been a fun-fun-fun ride! It will be a shame when it has to end!

His name? Lumley, Brian Lumley.

Summary: Long live the Necroscope
Review: On the whole this is a great book but it does need an in depth knowledge of the rest ot the series from the very beginning. Lumley takes some time to actually get to the meat of the tale and has a little too much exposition at the start. However once he starts the main tale it rattles along at a ferocious pace which makes it painful to even think of putting it down. Watchout for the cliffhanger ending though as it will be a long year to wait for the next novel.

Summary: Another Vampiric hit for Brian Lumley!
Review: Prior fans of Brian Lumley's Necroscope series will be the recommended audience for Defilers , which continues the ongoing story of science fiction horror. Here Jake is learning how to travel across space and talk to the dead - despite the presence of a vampire hitchhiker who may affect his future. The complex plot requires familiarity with prior series titles to be optimally enjoyed.

Summary: Foaming At The Mouth For More Necroscope Stories
Review: Since Mr. Lumley has openly stated that this last trilogy of Necroscope novels will be his last in the 'Necroscope' vein, I am savouring every page.

It's great to see all the characters I have grown to love in this series yet again! My only wish is that there was more action in Defilers. The story is getting more and more developed and complex as we go along (something all Lumley fans must enjoy!), and readers can feel the drama and intensity beginning to build!

Next Up: Necroscope: Avengers hopefully by early next year!

Summary: The Whamphyri are back!
Review: This is true Brian Lumley. He is successfully able to weave yet another tale in the continuing saga of the Whamphyri and E-Branch. As usual this is a book you'll be unable to put down. Lumley grabs your attention and keeps it. You'll be sorry when you reach the last page. Let's hope there are many, many more Lumley tales of the Whamphyri, Necroscope and E-Branch in the future.

Summary: Brian Scores Again!
Review: This second installment in the E-Branch series is another example of Brian's genius. I am currently enthralled by this reading.Lookin forward to the final installment (I hope he will consider continuing).
