Rating: Summary: Brian lumeys necroscope series has become part of my life; Review: Better than stephen king or dean koontz. If you are ever looking for an author to read and read, Brian Lumley is it. I have read off hand probably 15 books of the same story, characters, and cant wait for the next one.
Rating: Summary: It's about darn time! Review: Geez! I'm glad Jake can finally access the MC! I found the book better than the first with more action and suspense. I was thinking Lumley was losing his zing for this series but he won me back. VERY good reading.

Rating: Summary: Another Vampiric hit for Brian Lumley! Review: He keeps them coming. E-Branch and its followers have their hands full with these old Whamphri and its nonstop action. Its just another addition to an already perfect collection.
Rating: Summary: VAMPIRES REVISITED! Review: I have read all of this man's vampire books, and the Necroscope novels are some of THE BEST stories in terms of sheer excitement and just plain good, fun reading today. DEFILERS, though not one of the best of this authors works, is still a fun and interesting chapter in the ongoing fight against the bad ol' Whampyrie vampires. New levels of storytelling and ongoing character development was sure apparent in this book. I hope that the next novel, (the last-darn-it), carries us back to the vampire world of sunside/starside, which is where this author does his best work in my opinion. I like the new necroscope Jake Cutter and his love interest Liz Merrick, but they are hardly together in this novel, but they are surrounded by other E-branch people who all have their own unique powers which is always fun to read. I reccommend this book highly and am waiting eagerly foe the final showdown and book in this long-lasting series.

Rating: Summary: Disappointing Review: I thought this was the weakest of the Necroscope series. Lumley is trying to turn his vampire stories into romances. He spent way too much time describing his lovely women and the virile Jake. I yawned! Where's the action???

Rating: Summary: The Necroscope Saga Continues Review: I waited intently for Necroscope:Defilers after the 1st installment and I must agree, this one took a little longer to get going. I think that the exposition was a bit lengthy and that more of the focus should have been on the Necroscope (isn't that the title of the book?), but don't take this as a bash. I was still happy once the story took root, and to those familiar with Brian's saga, you will get that same sinking feeling on the last page (Aw no, it's over? I want MORE!) Honestly, the worst part about this book is that it will definitely leave your mouth watering for the final installment. Actually, it's bittersweet. You want to know HOW it ends, but you don't want it to actually end. Do yourself a favor and get this book (along with the other 12), you won't be disappointed.
Rating: Summary: Hooked at the word go... Review: I was amazed at this book the first time I read it. Having been a fan of fantasy and horror novels since I was a small child, I was hooked almost at once by the storyline that has been created by Brian Lumley. The new Necroscope, Jake Cutter, chases after his goals of avenging his lost love by killing all the men involved in her rape and murder. With the help of a devious vampire ghost and his ever increasing powers, he soon confronts the men responsible but are they what they seem to be or are they much more? Brian Lumly has once again begun to weave a web of well planned plots and detailed characters that will draw you in and make you wonder if you should be sleeping at night or if you should invest in garlic and silver tipped arrows.
