Rating: Summary: Resident Evil: City Of The Dead Review: Thid is definetly one of the greatest books i've ever read! I strongly suggest that anyone who like's Resident Evil or fantastic book to keep you on the edge of your seat should read this book. It is not for the light hearted though, It goes into grat detail on the gore. I've read the previous two books and now i'm working on The Underworld but this is definetly the best so far. I can't think of anything bad to say. It follows the game Resident Evil 2 really well. It was cool because i read the book and then i got to go and play the exact same part on my game. I give this book 5 stars S.D Perry is my favorite author because of these books and i hope she keeps on writeing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Rating: Summary: Resident Evil 3:City of the dead is so cool Review: This book is awsome! You know what the characters are actually thinking. Like I never knew Cheif Iron was going to rape Claire, and the whole time he was pointing the gun at her she was worrying about Sherry. It's Basicly is about a girl who comes to Racoon City in search of her brother, when suddenly the whole place turns out to be these ugly zombies that eat people, she then meets a guy named Leon and due to some car trouble, they have to split up. She then goes to the police station and meets a surviving girl named Sherry. And Leon goes to the police station as well and meets a lady named Ada. Then Claire meets Mr. X and Leon meets William Birkin. Then they have to try to get out in a underground lab. Although I can't tell you the whole story because that wouldn't be fair. But if you liked the other RE book series, then you have to pick this baby up.
Rating: Summary: Everything I hoped for and more... Review: City of the Dead is, by far, my favorite novel out of the RE series. Not only does S.D.Perry stay true to the videogame storyline [based on RE2], but she gives us a remarkable insight into each character's personality, struggles, and conflicts. Readers will easily identify with Claire's fear as she wanders through the ravaged police station encountering zombies, monsters, and having to search corpses for ammo. You can almost feel Annette Birkin's inner turmoil as she remembers the tragic events surrounding her husband William. If die-hard fans thought the videogame was excellent, this novel takes the action to another level, keeping you on the edge of your seats wanting more!
Rating: Summary: City of the Dead Review: Great, great book. I wasn't expecting this book to be the way it was. I figured it would be a little gory and would follow one character through, but it explained the gore in such a realistic manner! this book is not for a weak stomache! You basically read the thoughts of the characters as they go through this, the storyline being 2 people, Claire Redfield and Leon Kennedy, meet up in a city filled with flesh eating dead people walking around! (if you want to know more about why they came to the city, read the book!) The book was little dissapointing at the end, (with the big bad guy) but a very good book over all!! I suggest this book to even people who have beat the game because it is so different becuase you can acctually read what they are thinking, and the way the story goes is a tick off, but overall, my favorite book! I would mostly recommend this book to people who like action, horror, and a little bit of mystery books.
Rating: Summary: Tight Review: Let me start off by saying this: I love Resident Evil. When I found out about the books, I bought all of them. This one was my favorite, and I loved that it was so long. It's very detailed about everything. I've played all of the games and obviously the books are more detailed. i love everything about this book, and my favorite person is Claire; she always has been. Overall, this is a very good book, and obviously you'll like it more if you like Resident Evil.
Rating: Summary: Best in the Series Review: I haven't read every Resident Evil book yet, but so far this one is the best. As you read you'll get a different point of perspective and go through the Raccoon City Police Department from various Characters and there own stories about how they got there and so on. The entire book from beginning to end is action packed a helluva lot better than any movie. If you love Resident Evil then read this book.
Rating: Summary: Perry writes for children and Capcom allowed it! Review: Only young readers who have no idea of what a good book is would give Perry's novels a good rating. I laughed more than anything at Perry's poor attemtps to interest me with her weak characters.
Rating: Summary: City of the Dead-- Quite possibly the best so far. Review: City of the Dead, Although not as good as The Umbrella Conspiracy, still takes the prize. Claire, Leon, Sherry, Ada, the whole cast is incredible. It is identical to the game, but S.D. Perry throws in some of her own ideas. Thank you S.D. Perry, and keep them coming.
Rating: Summary: The Best Book Ever! Review: If you are are a Resident Evil lover, like me, BUY THIS BOOK! It has very good description and alot of twists and turns. Infact, it is the best book I ever read in my ENIRE LIFE! If you are looking for a good thriiler, this book is #1. I think the authour did an astounding job writing and summarizing the game and I am looking forward to buying another book of this seiries.
Rating: Summary: Two words. Un Believable Review: I know thats not how you spell unbelievable, but this book was awesome. It really described the game quite well and you got to hear the thoughts and opinions of all the characters except for Hunk, the Umbrella guy, and William Birkin. The only problem is that they tell you that Ada is a spy at the very beginning. Read the book, because it rules.
