Summary: Awesome!!
Review: I have read all books in the series, and played all games too. It is amazing how Perry manages to bring out the games into "reality", sticking well to the plot. Her description and detail of events and characters etc. is brilliant, although having the bare ins and outs of certain gross monsters may not be considered a good thing in some cases (nightmares for the week-hearted, perhaps?), it is still well processed. Nemesis is a fantastic addition to the series, and I only hope she plans to continue doing more - even her own ideas for continuation in the Res regeme are superb. I would recommend this to anyone - whether you're into Resident Evil or not. All four predecessors are excellent and this is certainly no let-down. In fact, I'm off to read it again...

Summary: Resident Evil: Nemesis
Review: I have to say that I was very impressed with the way Perry wrote this book. A must own for any real Resident Evil/Biohazard fan. It answered some of my questions like were and why Jill starts were she does in the beginning of the game. I also recommend Resident Evil: Umbrella Conspiracy, Caliban Cove, City of the Dead and Underworld.

Summary: You gotta give the lady credit...
Review: With the Resident Evil saga becoming ever more complex (and, okay, let's admit it, impossibly twisted) I wondered how S.D. Perry would tie it all together. She apologizes for any discrepencies at the beginning of the book, but I couldn't find anything objectionable about her handling of the story. Nemesis was one of my favorite games because of the spooky setting and all those surprise visits from Tyrant, and Perry has done a wonderful job of bringing this story to the reader. I can't wait for her next original RE story. I am also VERY interested in seeing how she handles the Code: Veronica and proposed Resident Evil 0 storylines. If you like the video games, or a good action/adventure story, or even if you just like being totally grossed out, you should definitly pick up this series.

Summary: You want S.T.A.R.S.? I'll give you STARS!
Review: Resident Evil : Nemesis is excellent.

With that out of the way, lets take a look at the newest novel from S.D. Perry. This is another book Perry has written parallel to a Resident Evil Video Game, and it follows it very well. S.D. Perry's work is truly outstanding and I wish there was more of her novels to read, her writing never gets tiring.

This story is of course centered on Jill Valentine attempting to escape the madness that Racoon City has plunged into. However she is going to have a hard enough time trying to escape when there are multiple forces at work to add to the deceased list in Racoon City. Umbrella, zombies, dozens of monsters and the Nemesis are out to stop Jill from leaving the city alive. The Nemesis is super-tyrant programmed to kill S.T.A.R.S members. The Nemesis is no ordinary tyrant for it can take a lickin and keep on tickin and Jill must use all over resources and sacifice the lives of her friends to destoy the Nemesis.

The Umbrella Corporation released a virus in the city or Racoon to test a new wave of biological warfare. The virus transforms the population of Racoon City into zombies that possess a certain intelligence, increased strength and resistance to small and heavy arms gunfire. Umbrella has also dispatched military mercenaries to see how well the zombies do against a small army. While Umbrella watchdogs check in with Umbrella reporting progress of the virus, Jill Valentine must fight her way out of the city to save herself. And that means that Jill must dodge hundreds of zombies all the while keeping the Nemesis at bay. When Jill becomes infected with the virus, her friends must fight to stay alive and find her a cure. Umbrella decides to scrap the whole Racoon City project when it gets out of hand by launching missles to wipe the city off the earth. Now Jill and her friends must quickly get out of the city all the while exits are continually be blocked by the Nemesis. Hang on for some truly fast paced action reading.

For those of you who played Resident Evil 3 on Playstation, it is great reading. You get some insight into why certain things were going on in the game that you might have not been aware of. For example, you are able to read on how Jill Valentine got to the part where you start Resident Evil 3. You also get some insight on why the Russian Mercenary Nicoli was running around all over Racoon City. Everyone's favorite, Trent makes a appearance and you get the inside scoop on who Trent is and why he is helping the STARS. Ada Wong makes a small brief appearance and you are able to read about what Jill Valentine and Carlos were thinking through this whole mess. Its a great book and a definite add-on to your Resident Evil collection.

Summary: Resident Evil 5 - Nemesis
Review: This book was excellent. It was a great video game and S.D. Perry wrote it into a novel beautifully. Although it didn't have all the details of the game, it seems more realistic. The only problem is that it was a little rushed on descriptions of the settings and events, unlike Umbrella Conspiracy. An excellent book to own for any Resident Evil fan.

Summary: Resident Evil Nemesis rocks
Review: So now we finally get to the book that i have been waiting for ages to come out. And to say that i researved this thing iam real glad to see that this is the best of the series so far. I think this book is a real showcase for how good S.D Perry really is. Anyhow back to the book the story is quite simple Jill Valentine (Yes all you annoracks out there she was in the firs book) is trapped in Racoon city and must try and escape while been chased by a 10ft tyrant wearing a leather jacket and sporting a rocket launcher so the odds are kind of against her. Once more though Jill find help in Carlos Oliveiara who is some kind of south American mercenary. What about this book is that it actually adds a couple of new plot twists to Resident Evil 3 the game. For instance Nicholai i think is a much stronger characther in this than he is in the game. While you know what will happen in the end its still the best of the bunch so far and really highlights how good this series is. Rollo on Code Veronica

Summary: Perry's best RE novel by FAR
Review: I've been a huge fan of Resident Evil ever since it appeared on PS in 1996. I own all of the novels, and I find it commendable that Perry acknowledged that she's attempted to fix the screwed-up in the RE universe's continuity by starting fresh with RE Nemesis. Unlike the ending to RE: City of the Dead and the events that lead to Underworld which contrast directly with the RE universe, RE Nemesis follows the events just like it happened in the real game, and I'm happy...
