Summary: Salvation for those of us that just need more!
Review: S.D. Perry has once again answered our call in her 5th Resident Evil story. If you're like me (a sick and twisted individual that was disappointed by the lack of story in every game) you won't be able to set this one down. In all of her Resident Evil books she has taken a story that we all know from the games and expands on it. She writes what we can only imagine is going on during those annoying plot holes. This book delivers just like the previous 4, giving an incredible game new life with each word written. In my opinion, this is one of the best out of all 5. It not only goes into detail about the characters and events in the game, but also the elusive Mr. Trent that seems to know everything about every Umbrella created crisis. So what are you waiting for? Turn off all the lights, light a candle and don't forget a spare change of pants!

Summary: THE GAME GOOD! THE BOOK BETTER!
Review: Resident evil is a very good game, with an exelent group of characters and a never ending plot. It was fun to see how SD Perry handled the complexed plot and strange enviorment. She did so good that she ended up doing a five part mini series that could go on for a life time. In Resident evil Nemisis, SD Perry brings you back to the horror in raccon city. Jill is stuck in a town infested with the walking dead, the strange brain sucking insects, nasty spiders, gigantic worms and the worst of them all the stalking tyrant simply codenamed the "Nemisis" of course theres more horror lurking in the darkness of Raccon city but i just named some of the monsters. Mean while a nother hero faces a horrible battle with zombies as he watches all his friends die in a battle that ends in a massacre his name Carlos. But on the other hand we have a bad guy who works for umbrella named Nicoli who makes Jill and Carlos escape impossible. They team up not only to escape the terror that lies in Raccon city but they must survive the killing machine Nemisis after them. The story unraveles very quickly and terrible things start happening to Jill and Carlos. Jill defeates almost being infected and Carlos escapes nearly getting blowned away in a explotion at a hospital. After endless encounters with Nicoli and the Nemisis Jill and Carlos finally defeat them and escape whats left of Raccon city. Soon the city explodes and Raccon city is erased from the map. And thats just some of the things our heroes encounter.Buy this book you wont be unsatisfied!

Summary: Resident Evil: Nemesis by S.D Perry
Review: I'd have to say, this Resident Evil book in great. I disagree that the book is way too short. S.D Perry provides us with all the action that was sacraficed from the game, and brings it into one book. She expands on the plot so much, giving you all the details of each character. You'll find yourself reading about Jill, then in the next chapter, Carlos, then Nicholi, the Mike, etc. She doesn't miss anything, she lets you know what was going on in Jill's life before the incident, and the how the death toll continued to rise, until all hell broke lose. She adds in the violence and swears that couldn't be put into the game, for obvious reasons. The ending is great, and this is a must-have for a die-hard Resident Evil fan, even if you don't enjoy reading that much, if you like RE, you'll be able to connect with this book. Definently check this one out. 5/5

Summary: S.D. Perry is the greatest author
Review: Resident Evil 3: Nemesis was a great game. At my age, I'm always playing Resident Evil games--I've beaten 2 and 3, and the new game Survivor, but haven't beaten 1 because it's a bit hard in my opinion, and I don't like renting it. I own Resident Evil 2, but I've borrowed Resident Evil 3 from my friend many times, and also rented it from Blockbuster. It's a really, really fun game. S.D. Perry keeps me from jumping reading this book (jumping out of fright). She is truly a great author, I don't know how she does it! But I hope she novelizes Resident Evil-Survivor, Code Veronica, and the game before Resident Evil 1--Resident Evil: Zero. Also, check out her original novels, Caliban Cove & Underworld, which are both fantastic books that I also own! Also check out The Umbrella Conspiracy & The City of the Dead--they're awesome novelizations of RE 1 + 2! You rule, S.D. Perry! Keep writing books! I highly reccommend this book for any horror fans.

Summary: Let's here it for the FIVE time Resident Evil Champion!
Review: SD Perry does it again. This is another excellent adaptation of the game. I case you're wondering, Perry tells us that the facts of this book will differ slightly from the previous four novels (particularly "Caliban Cove"). The four books were released before the Nemesis game. She obviously couldn't have known.

There are two things that make these novels fun to read? 1) Perry tells the story from all the main characters points of view, not just Jill and Carlos. 2) Perry doesn't take incredible creative licenses like most adaptations. Were the Super Mario Bros, Double Dragon, and Final Fantasy movies anything like the games? No. These books take your gaming experience and enhances the enjoyment.

I need to address a problem some readers have. Many people claim that the novels aren't "scary enough." My response, "How can something be scary when you know what's going to happen?" A large part of fear is ignorance. Would a horror film be scary if you've read the script first? Of course not.

You ask me, "If it's just the same story from the game, why should I buy it?" Think of the novels as Director's Cut DVDs, familiar and new at the same time. You'll delve into Nicholi's evil mind. You'll read about characters that were featured in the game files. (How many of you actually read those files?) You might even discover new secrets. The only thing I didn't like about this book was the title. Perry came up with cool titles of her own for the first four books. Perhaps she was instructed by Capcom to keep the original game names.

I have read "Umbrella Conspiracy" through "Nemesis." I recommend them all. I've written a review for each one as well. After I finish "Code:Veronica," I will write a review. Enjoy.

Summary: S.D. Perry has done it again
Review: S.D. Perry has created a genious novel to Resident Evil fans. Though some still may not like S.D. Perry's work, I appreciate her great novelization of the video game based novels. Nemesis is a perfectly good example of what she is capable of in my eyes. Within this story you go through Raccoon City as ex-S.T.A.R.S. member Jill Valentine, finding help throughtout the city with Umbrella Rescue Fource Carlos and Mikhail, who are al lstriving to get out of the zombie infected city.

This novel captures genious detail and extra thoughts that I absolutely love. I had this book read in about a week and a half. To some that may seem like eternity, but it usually takes me a month to read a book this size. This book will be charished for many years to come by me.

Summary: S.D Perry sticks to Resident evil !
Review: I was very lucky to have read the new Resident evil book before it came out and i must say she stuck to the plot quite well. After reading her Resident evil underworld story she let me down with poor excuse for characters and a very complexed plot that had very little to do with the Resident evil saga. If u have read all of her RE books u know that very few monsters came out in all her four stories because all of the stories were more detail and hardly no accion. In Resident evil nemisis she sticks with her detailed style and she has the characters interact a lot more with the monsters giving the book a great read.I'm a very strong critic and for me to give a book a 5 rating it has to be a fast , smart, suspence triller. A lot of people ask me if Resident evils all accion and no dialog? I always tell them how much dialog could u have in a city infested with zombies? She did a great job on her novels and i think we should give her the credit because not every author can make a video game into a 5 book mini series and have people screaming for more. Even if we know the plot of the story because you played the game its still fun to read and it will have you wanting more just like a lot of people waiting for this long a waited novel.

Summary: Excellent
Review: S.D. Perry did it again. Just like she did with Umbrella Conspiracy and City of the Dead, Perry has managed to take the storyline of a Resident Evil game and has made it even more explosive, suspenseful, scary, and riveting. Nemesis, the fifth book in the series, finds Jill Valentine trying to survive and escape the zombie infested Raccoon City. However, there is something else afoot that is after her. Not just zombies, or mutated dogs, or hunters; she is being hunted by a creature called the Nemesis: a gigantic misshapen monster that is on a mission. Perry once again manages to give memorable and great characterizations of the characters from the video game, including the mercenary Carlos who wasn't too likeable in the game, becomes quite likeable here. Many of the game's most memorable moments are played out here; the highlight of which is the chicken-hearted pilot Brad Vickers and his first (and last) encounter with the Nemesis while a horrified Jill watches first hand. All in all, next to City of the Dead and Umbrella Conspiracy, this is the best Resident Evil novelization.

Summary: The best RE book to date
Review: After her previous adventures Jill Valentine is now getting ready to leave Raccoon City for good. But something has gone terrably wrong. The city is filled with zombies and monsters and Jill is in the centre of it all. Whats more the government have decided to blow the city off the map. Jill must race across the city aidded by Carlos ,an Umbrella soldier tricked into thinking he was on a rescue mission, to escape the approaching missiles.
And theres something much worse than missiles chasing them through the streets of Raccoon, the terrorfying, infamous Nemisis
A killing machine designed to destroy STARS members.

Summary: My favorite book in the series.
Review: Jill Valentine is once again trapped in a zombie filled nightmare in this, the novelization of the third Resident Evil video game. Raccoon City has been completely lost to the T-Virus and Jill realizes all she can do is try to escape the city. However, this won't be an easy task. She must battle zombies, mutants, and a new tyrant that has been programed to kill Jill and her fellow S.T.A.R.S. teammates. Fortunately Jill is not alone, hapless Umbrella mercenary, Carlos, proves to be a useful ally.

I love the Resident Evil video game series but I go into hysterics whenever I play them so I read the novels instead. These books could easily be boring and tedious but they are actually quite good. The author focuses on characterization instead of attempting to capture every puzzle and battle. However, the books still manage to be suspenseful and will keep you on the edge of your seat. This book is my favorite in the series because Jill and Carlos are the most interesting characters in the Resident Evil universe. All of the novelizations of the games are good though and you don't even need to be familiar with the games to enjoy them.
