Review: "Phantoms" enthralled me- the characters were real and very likeable, and I found the whole idea fascinating and very believable. This story was scary and emotionally/intellectually gripping. And unlike the movie, this book has a satisfying end. One of my favorites- I know I'll read it again!

Review: This was one of the scariest bookI have ever read!! At first, i thoguht it was some company doing the killing, but I was surprised to find that it was something hideous. Dean Koontz describes things so well that I thought I was right by the characters, getting scared to death. Not recommended for people who think there are things lurking in the dark!

Review: This is one of the best novels I have ever read! I saw the trailer for the movie and just knew I had to read it. Luckily, my dad had a copy lying around, so I picked it up, and couldn't put it down! This is the only book that actually ever frightened me!

Summary: Great Book - Bad Movie
Review: Phantoms is one of my favorite Koontz book - my favorite is Watchers. It is down right scary! The movie was a miserable failure making it seem like a crude oil spill. Read this book if you are a Koontz fan and if you aren't one, you will be after this book. It is a definate heart stopper full of excitement and surprize. It may even make you think it was true - why did all those dinosaurs disappear anyways?

Review: This reminded me of those cheesy alien movies one occasionally sees on the Sci-Fi cable channel. Don't get me wrong-- it's one of the most suspenseful, spine-tingling reads I've ever experienced, and the characters are interesting, but I expected an ending a little more grand than that. Too bad the movie stunk.

Review: This story is about 2 sister who went back to town and found out that some of the people were killed and all were missing. They called the police and together they must fight the evil below or else they'll die just like the others. Time is running out! I think this is the most scariest book I've ever read. When I read the book it was like oh my gosh what's gonna happen next? I was real scared. I recommend that people who like horror story should read this horrify tale.

Review: This is one of his best works. A tribute. However, if you are awaiting the movie, skip it. The book was great, the movie sucked!! Why do movie producers have to disgrace a great book with an equally lousy film rendition?
