Summary: This was a scary thriller that kept u reading, it was great.
Review: I loved this book. it was the scariest book i ever read. So if your looking for a great scary read this is your book.

Rating: 2 stars
Summary: i think it was one of his worst
Review: the beginning of this year i read phantoms because at the time i was interseted in watching the movie. i am a fan of mr. koontz's work and was rather disappointed in this book. i felt that it's plot was rather hard to follow and that the characters seemed, and acted, extremely vulnerable in the conditions that they faced throughout the book. i feel that this didn't have the suspense that intensity and the face of fear had. and to me he's a sucessful writer but had a flop with this one.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Excellent-A real page turner
Review: This was my first Koontz novel, and was on the edge of my seat the whole way thru! This is what a novel should be,without 125 pages of filler.Thanx goes out to Mr. Koontz for this book, and a hearty big thank you to all the readers out there that took the time to write their comments about the book. This is what the joy of reading is all about!

Summary: Be wary of Moths, very wary!!!
Review: I first read this in eigth grade and I couldn't put it down. My teacher took it from me twice since I wasn't paying attention in class. This is arguably my favorite novel. I spent the better part of the book trying to figure out what was killing all of these people, I mean what kills off a town, crucifies a priest, sucks off a man's face and takes out a special forces team? This is horror at it's best. I loved this book!

Summary: Will make your hair raise
Review: When I first laisd my hands on this book i hesitated by after reading firsy 50 pages i was hooked. Infact i read Phantoms in 3 days, almost 5 hours per day. If you like good literature then read this!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Awesome selection
Review: This book will keep you on the edge of your seat until the end. You won't want to put it down until you have finished even if it means pushing everything else aside. Koontz will keep you in suspense and excited the entire book.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Forget the movie, read the book!
Review: Not Koontz's best novel, but it is still pretty darn good. It grabs you from the first page and doesn't let up until the last page. It's nice to see a book with TWO main female characters who are smart and strong. Keep up the good work!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Excellent
Review: Just an FYI to all those folks who think Koontz may have been inspired by Stephen King's IT, Phantoms was published years before IT was. I suspect Mr. King may have been inspired by Koontz.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: It was an intense story to read in the dark or the light.
Review: This story was the best and first mystery science fiction I have ever read by Dean R. Koontz. The movie disturbed me because it wasn't a mystery Peter O'Toole knew exactly what it was for instence he knew that the pile of jewels were right away. Although the movie wasn't a hit the book was beyond exellent. The book got me thinking about mass disapperances. I have been studing the subject and I have found a lot of information of several other disapperances that were not mentioned in the book. This book made me jump every night I read it because I prefered it at night. If only it were true it would explain a lot of unsolved mysteries. This is an extremilly great book. Good job Dean R. Koontz for making are lives a lot more scary and mysterios.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: would've gotten five if i didn't compare it 2 one other book
Review: Good, but not great. The characters are as cliche as the come, but the reason for the disseapearances, (spelled that wrong) is cool. But Stephen King's IT blows this book away. I'm only 14 but i can tell IT is better, with a much better nemesis and better characters. Phantoms is suspensful and mysterious, but pretty tame compared to IT'sPennywise
