Summary: Gripping and imaginative but stylistically...
Review: I thought Phantoms was a good, quick read. Very imaginative and quite compelling. This is the 4th book I've read by Koontz and I enjoyed it very much. I think I liked "The Bad Place" better, but I was very satisfied with the read. Although the structure was very sound, the story well researched and quite imaginative, I don't think Dean Koontz is all that great a "writer." He doesn't have the knack for dialogue and character development Steven King has and I sometimes find myself cringing at some of his prose. Still, this book is a good pageturner and quite engrossing. 3 and a half stars.

Review: Oh my god! Phantoms was the best book I have ever read in my entire life. I am reading it right now and can not put it down for a second(except to write this). I love how Dean Koontz never slows down on the constant thrilling. This book made me go out and buy more of his books and they are all very good too. I think that whoever is reading this right now should go out(even if you hate to read) and buy this book just to give it a chance. I know that if you are even one of the worst readers you too will not be able to put this book down. Go out and get it now!

Review: Phantoms is the only work I've have read by Dean Koontz. The plot is great and the way he attached historic disappearances to the story was amazing. The whole story was great except the end which is pratically the most important part of the story. The story is for a person who loves horror and monsters and gasoline blowing it to flames.

Review: I have'nt seen the film, or don't want to - I have heard bad reports. What a shame, because this book is so fantastic, i'll never forget it. I'm a big fan of the author, but no other book comes close to matching this one. What more can I say?

Review: This book kept me on the edge of my seat! I went and bought it after seeing the movie "PHANTOMS". Even though the movie was based on the novel I thought the movie left out to many important details that I read in the book. Even though the movie was good I sugest that you read the book also.
