Summary: one word: WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Review: I love this book so much that I've read it whilst travelling on a train that gives me really bad motion sickness. Impossible to put down unless you fall asleep because you've been reading it all night. Buy this book! Escape into another world.

Summary: THE MORE CAREFUL YOU READ THE BETTER IT IS
Review: This book is a very, almost endless at times, long read.but I have to say that is well worth it.I recently met clive barker at manchester university where I had the joy of having many loose ends tied up.but all things considered I still think that the book could have been about 150-200 pages shorter.most people ,clive included think that this is his best work, the book does come in my top 5 ,coming from a stephen king fan thats a big achivement.and it has inspired me to read more of his work,[currently weaveworld].I would love to discuss with any other clive barker fans out there, any future novels i might read. wayne

Summary: the barker essential

Summary: 6th reading...
Review: I just finished my 6th reading of this book since the release in 1991. It still captivates me to this day. From the timeless souls of Gentle & Judith to the wonderous mystif Pie Oh Pah, you find yourself feeling the anguish, extacy, and discovery of the reconciling of the 5 dominions seperated over 2 millenniums ago. This book is a little predictable at times, if you know Barker's works, but nonetheless, it will captivate you. The book follows Barker's common "Soap Opera" scheme of writing to keep the reader entertained by one scene while another seems to drag out. A brilliant method to writing, all in all. One of the books in which you wish an end would never come.

Summary: CAPTIVATING,SPELLBOUNDING,EVER-EDUCING THOUGHT
Review: I HAVE BEEN FORTUNATE ENOUGH TO READ THIS BOOK THREE TIMES.REASONING FOR THE INTENSE RESEARCH OF THIS WORK,HAS ALOT TO DO WITH THE THREE ELEMENTS(GENTLE, PIE-OH-PAH, AND JUDE)! I'VE READ THIS BOOK TO LOOK THROUGH THERE EYES, SEPERATELY AND INDEPENDANTLY.EVERY TIME YOU EMBARK ON THIS JOURNEY YOU'LL FIND(AS HAVE I) A NEW TURN OR TWIST THAT YOU DIDN'T NOTICE BEFORE. THE SCENES IN THIS WORK ARE SO VIVID THAT YOU CAN SEE THE WATERS THAT ARE ALIVE. YOU CAN IMAGINE THE SIGHTS AND YOU CAN SEE THE DANGER! MOST OF ALL, YOU BECOME ONE OF THE PASSENGERS ON THIS WONDERFULLY WRITTEN VOYAGE.I SAY THAT CLIVE BARKER IS A GENIUS IN A SENSE THAT I'M MORE AWARE THAN AFRAID.THANK YOU DEAR, FOR INSPIRING YOUNG WRITERS AS MYSELF TO DARE TO DREAM TO BE AS IMAGINATIVE.I HOPE YOU START PRINTING THE ONE HARDBACK VOLUME AGAIN, IT'S SO HARD TO FIND NOW!

Summary: Epic Fantasy
Review: Imajica is nothing less than a compelling, realistic, and extremely well-written epic fantasy. It is worth reading all 1,000+ (if you got the two-volume edition) pages--at least once.

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: Overlong. Boring.
Review: What a disappointment. Barker's work has gone seriously downhill since the masterwork of Weaveworld. Now he seems more interested in filling up lots of pages with lots of words, and lots of phoney New Age pseudo-mysticism.

Can the author of this bloated monstrosity be the author of Weaveworld, and the Books of Blood?

Alas, yes.

Summary: Awesome book!!!!!! Disappointed to put down.
Review: I loved this book. When the book ended I was so disappointed that the adventure was all over. I felt as though I was actually a part of the story. I would love to read this book someday again. If you want to lose yourself in another world, I would recommend this book. It was hard to get into it at first but once there it's awesome!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: I'm lost for words. Barker isn't.
Review: Turn off your computer, go to a bookstore and buy this book. Do it right now before a mad rush of Barker fans gets there first. I can't write what it's about. Just read it. It's amazing.
