Summary: Run For Your Lives, Here Comes The STORM!
Review: The only character in this book that I liked was Brody, and I was furious that he didn't get to find out who Rain was. Rain, once decent and honorable, now feels sorry for her horrible life and spends the whole book saying "Poor me, poor me". The one guy who snaps her out of her pit of self-pity is some dork named Austin, her PHYSICAL THERAPIST!!! She feels no qualms whatsoever when it comes to hopping into bed with him (all part of her treatment, so she probably thinks). The ending is a little different from what readers probably suspected when they finished Lightning Strikes. Rain does not go on to live the typical V.C. Andrews heroine life, though she does have a daughter.

Summary: A really good read.
Review: The third novel in the hudson series was intense and exciting. I couldn't put it down and it makes it really hard to wait for the next novel. I hope it's not to tragic.

Summary: The series
Review: This book in my opinnion is one of the better ones out of this series. I had read all of VC Andrews's books by the time I was 15, and now all I do is wait for the next one in each series to come out. I think she is one of the best writers I have read. My Sweet Audrina was the first "entire" book I have ever read in my life and that is what got me hooked on reading books. The HUDSON series is yes just like all the rest of them but then agian if it wasnt would you really look forward to reading her next book, we all know that all of her boks are pretty much the same and I believe that is why we all read them. Because if it wasnt why would so many people read so many books about the same thing and keep waiting on the next one to come out????? I think no matter what she or rather her GW writes they all always be fantastic.....So all I have left to say now is I believe the book was great, I never put it down until I was completley done with it. Febuary 2001 couldnt come faster..... "B"

Summary: WONDERFUL!!
Review: This book was non-stop reading. I warn anyone that buys it to not start reading it till you have several hours to dedicate to it. It was as exciting and page turning as the first two and I am anxiously awaiting the next book. A must have for any V.C. Andrews fan

Summary: Couldn't put it down!!
Review: This is by far the best of the series. I read it in 1 day. I couldn't put it down. I can not wait till the next one comes out.

Summary: Same old story, not much improvement
Review: This is somewhat better then the previous novels that came before it. The GW had a chance to make this an outstanding series but he just repeated the Cutler series all over again, only changing the name to Hudson and just added a few changes that really don't set it apart or make it stand alone. The old ORIGINAL VCA books could stand by themselves whereas these new ones don't have a leg to stand on. I wish he wouldn't stretch the story out. At least years passed in the FITA series and the character actually grew instead of being stuck in the same age and year. The Hudson series should be promoted as the Cutler series only with very few changes here and there. I think the GW needs to take a year off to get creative intstead of churning out these novels one after another, that or get a new ghostwriter.

But if you wish to know what this book is about, then reread FALLEN HEARTS, TWILIGHT'S CHILD and for the next book in the Hudson series, END OF THE RAINBOW, I suggest you just reread Midnight Whispers, Hidden Jewel and Gates of Paradise instead.

The Hudson series, to sum it up: Nothing new.

Summary: Redundant and Whiny
Review: This is the second book I didn't like written by the GW, the first being Melody (which got better the second time I read it.) This one didn't. Unfortunately I think that the GW ran out of ideas and decided that he had to crush poor Rain. I mean come on. SPOILERS!! First he kills off her brother and then there is her accident. Then all that stuff that Victoria put her through? It was redundant for one thing. He kept going over what Victoria was doing to her even though he had just said it a few pages before! This was definitely a poor one on Neiderman's side. But oh well, my VCA site can't have all good reveiws lol. If you have to read it, I recomment waiting for it to be at the library or the used bookstore.

Summary: GREAT BOOK!
Review: This was such a good book! First off, I think the writer from "KNOXVILLE" (see down below-Dec 21st) needs to keep her opinions to herself if she's going to give away the whole story! Yes, dear, you DID spoil it for many people who haven't read it yet. I was included in this as well. I first read the customer reviews before buying the book and "knoxville's" comments really did ruin it for me! Anyhow, even though I knew what was going to happen ahead of time, I still think this was a great book. No, it's not one of the "best," but I don't think it's as bad as others think.

Summary: Eye of the Storm
Review: V.C. Andrews, Eye of the Storm, is very thrilling book. It offers drama, tragedy, romance, and suspense. A nineteen-year-old girl, Rain, narrates the book. After the death of her grandmother Hudson Rain inherits millions. She finds herself caught in a battle for the Hudson family wealth. Rain has to face her unaccepting mother, her manipulative stepfather, and her witch of an Aunt, Victoria. No matter how much money Rain has her world keeps going down when sudden tragedy strikes. Rain is helpless and alone after this tragedy and all her dreams are washed away. A friendly stranger helps Rain with his kindness and generosity. But just as soon as her future looks brighter her past comes back to haunt her. Rain has to go through many new obstacles with her new disabled body and has to over come her vicious Aunt and the rest of family. Once she finally does she lives the future she always dreamed of. If you like suspense, tragedy, drama, and romance, I guarantee you will enjoy this book.
