Summary: A sad story
Review: V.C. Andrews needs some serious help and new ideas for books.I have read several of her books that disgust me.I wonder if V.C.Andrews was sexually mistreated as a child because all of her books seem involve sex and rape and disgusting things like that. It's sad that people read this sort of trash and that our society accepts it.I'm only twelve and I read her book thinking that it might not be as bad as the others and stopped in the middle because I found it sickening.I've also thrown out the books that I bought from her. V.C. Andrews has the potential to be a wonderful writer but she turns you away from her book when she writes novel after novel of this trash. I won't buy another book from her because of this and I hope people agree with me.

As for V.C.:If anything like that happened to you I'm sorry, but it is horrifying at how obsessed you are about this kind of treatment.

Summary: Well that explains it...
Review: Want to know how Heaven's life started? Want to know how her mom wound up with a man like Luke Casteel? Well, get this book and all will be revealed. As in most of VC's series, this is the fifth book in the series, which is how it all started. This book will answer all your questions and displays how it started a whole chain of events which resulted in Heaven's life. Check it out, you know you are dying to know... :)

Summary: The best book V.C. Andrews has ever written!
Review: Web of Dreams Explores the life of Leah (Angel) Tatterton, and her family from well to do, to rich beyond belief.
It goes very in depth with why Leah eventually runs off to the Willies.

One interesting note: In the book Leah discovers that the man (Cleave Van Voreen) she believed to be her father is not her true father at all, that Jillian apparently got pregnant by a man named Charles Godwin (or was it Goodman?).
Any way later in the book this same man works for Cleave Van Voreen, and calls Leah to inform her that her "Father" will be unable to see her.
Does Leah actually talk to her real father, and not know it, or was this just a slight of hand by V.C. Andrews?
I like to think that this was put into the book by V.C. Andrews just to see how many of her readers would catch it!

Web of Dreams is by far the best book I have ever read, and I have read thousands of books!
What I like best about the prequel is that it has absolutely NO discrepancies with the remaining books in the series, unlike other series written by V.C. Andrews.

Summary: The best of the "Heaven" series
Review: Web of Dreams is by far my favorite book out of the Casteel series. I think that the stories got sillier toward the end but I have still read them over and over. This is the best series V.C. Andrews has ever wrote. Leigh's innocence throughout all her tragedy is refreshing and heartbreaking. This book alone is enough to make a V.C. Andrews junkie out of any reader.

Summary: I loved this book!
Review: Web of dreams is such a beautiful story, about Heaven's mother Angel (who's real name is Leigh) Finding out why the beautiful, young girl ran away, and died in during child birth. You also see a different side to Luke, who is kind and loving. It's sad because it's like your Angel, and when she dies your not,but then your Heaven in the next book, so that's ok. Summary: The best book of the compelling Casteel series!!
Review: Web of Dreams is the sad story of Heaven's mother Leigh and her life in Farthingale Manor. It was an excellent book. It definatly explained everything. After Leigh's mother and father got a divorce her life seemed to be slowly going downhill. Her mother remarried to a multimillionare, Tony Tatterton, who owns the Tatterton toy company. After her step-father betrays her most cruelly and her mother doesn't trust her, she is forced to run away where she eventually meets Luke Casteel! It's an exciting book with many unexpecting twists in the plot. I would surely recommend it to anyone who would like to know how the whole Casteel curse began. If you haven't read it yet go get it now!

Summary: A sad, haunting end to the Casteel series
Review: Whilst I found the whole series of Heaven haunting nothing could prepare me for the story of Heavens mother Leigh. This beautiful sweet girl thrown into these shocking circumstances was almost too much to read and the more I read this book, the more I would love to change it. The insight into Tony (that bastard) Jillian (what a loser) and Troy in the earlier years when Farthingale Manor reigned supream was wonderful, however I was disappointed that no retribution (castration perhaps) was delt out to Tony. All in all this is one of V.C Andrews morbid best, and is a gret testimont to her REAL writing, unlike this new and highly disappointing ORPHAN series.

Summary: Could the Title Be More Vague?
Review: With so many positive comments, here is a negative one. Leigh is a boring character. And the modeling scenes are disturbing, to say the least. It seems as if all the male rapists in future Andrews/Neiderman books were modeled after Tony Tatterton, which is the last kind of character people want to read about in every book. He is the epitome of a dull snobbish personality mixed with delusional fantasies. Jillian was interesting in Dark Angel, but in this she is just your stereotypical vain mother. Not worth reading. There really aren't any important revelations in this excuse for a prequel.
