Summary: One of my all time favorite books!
Review: First of all, I have to say this is one of my all time favorite books, and has remained there for quite some time. It has got everything anyone could ask for: sci-fi, romance, horror, fantasy. The writting sucks you into the characters & plot. I love this book!

Summary: Classic Pike
Review: I read lots of Christopher Pike's books as a kid, so I anxiously snatched this one up. I was curious to see how he handled an adult novel -- although I also read "Sati" years ago and remembered being impressed.I was initially disappointed that the writing seemed a little "obvious" from what I expected from an adult novel. But that changed as the story developed, got interesting, and the characters started to hash themselves out more fully. I thought the "story within a story" was almost more skillfully written than the main story itself! The horror/sci-fi/fantasy mix will go down well with most readers, I think. At some moments, it read like a movie. Another winner for Mr. Pike!

Summary: Touching the depths of my soul with bliss!
Review: Christopher Pike and I have grown together. Since fifth grade to now at 23 I have been enraptured by the flames of his words. this book opened my eyes to the beauty and the pain of writing. It has insopired me and made me see that I wanted to be a writer. There is such sweet agony within this book you never want it to end, but yet you need to know what will happen and so you stay up late and read till your eyes bleed and savor each moment you are with the words. It is the best book I have ever read and I have read it so many times that I have had to glue the binding back twice already and I would never part with my original copy for that would be a crime, like loosing my innocents. It had forever changed my life and i carry the words and the beauty and darkness with me each day, wondering always of the wonder and awe of the universe and what lies in the depth of out own souls. Behold the power and the endless fasintation and let yourself be wraped in Pike's seductive warmth. You will never be sorry for reading this book, it may even open your eyes to the world that all of us fan's already know, and then you will see whay we love him so.

Summary: A very gory, different book
Review: This is the best book I have ever read. Even if you don't like blood and gore, even if you hate horror novels, I would recommend this book to you anyway because this book is fantastic. The story is so refreshingly different, very ingenius. When I finished this book, I had to pause and wonder, how in the world did the author come up with this story? It is incredible because you care about the characters in this book, you honestly feel as if you know them. It really goes beyond my writing abilities to describe just what you feel while reading this book. The best way to sum it up I suppose, is that you truly feel INVOLVED in this story, with these characters. It is such an insane plot, but it is written so convincingly, you feel as if what takes place in this novel could honestly happen.

Summary: My favorite out of many...
Review: I am a Christopher Pike fan and have read all of the books he has published but this one has remained my favorite. Not only my favorite by Pike but in general. As an avid reader since a child this is saying a lot. I am actually purchasing my second copy of this book as the first on is in rough shape. Not only did my boyfriend enjoy reading this book but it has become a favorite of my neice as well. To try and explain the book in my own words would not do it justice. So I will close by saying that my dog is named Wagner after the leading character. Definately a book that should be read by all ... I cannot say enough.

Summary: if you dont read it i'll hunt you down!
Review: i am 12 years old, and even though this is an adult book, i read it in a day. it is by far the best book he has ever written. seriously. i try to tell my freinds to read it, but once they see the small print, they say no. they say it sounds boring. well let me assure you, IT IS NOT BORING. THIS IS SUCH A GOOD BOOK!! I wish i knew someone who had read it so i could talk about it w/ them. pleas read it. give it a chance. even read that part about chaneen, because it does have a lot to do with the story. i made the mistake of skiping over it, only to find out that....well, read it and you'll know exactly what i'm talking about. PLEEZ GIVE IT A CHANCE!...

Summary: The Season of Passage
Review: The book THE SEASON OF PASSAGE, by Christopher Pike is an excellent way to bring out the fantasy in you. Christopher pike has wrote alot of books, but I like this one the best.
The book is about a young woman named Lora, who had a younger sister, who is holding back a scary secret, and a boyfriend who helps Lora's sister.
Lora is working for NASA and she was assigned to a mission to go to Mars. When Lora gets to Mars, strange things start to happen. Lora makes contact with a long ago disseased shuttle crew. Since the meetings with the shuttle crew, Lora has wierd dreams. Lora is spellbound, and is trying to find out what these dreams mean, when something more mysterious than the findings of the sopposed to be dead shuttle crew, happens.
To find out what happens you'll have to read Christopher Pikes THE SEASON OF PASSAGE. If you dont then you'll be missing out on a great adventure.

its the first Pike book for adults i have read but if theyre all as good as this ill be reading more!

Summary: It will have you wanting more and more
Review: This was an amazing book. I only stopped reading it once, because I had to see what was going to happen. I really liked how there was never a boring part. Like in some books, they talk, just to explain things, and I find tht boring, but with this one, the talking isn't boring because they say interesting things!
I really think you should read this book, whether you're into science-fiction or horror, read it!
