Summary: Wow
Review: That is all i can say about the book is Wow.If you hate it or if you like it.You still are going to say wow.At first i didn't think i would like it.Someone told me that is was a very sick book. But boy were they wrong.I really didn't like the first part. But the last two parts were really good. The only thing i don't like is the abuse in the book.I have never read a author like nancy collins. She is just a great author.

Summary: Maybe the truest vampire tale on the shelves
Review: The Sonja Blue novels were recommended by a friend with the caution...............it isn't Anne Rice you know. How right she was, this is no glossy, self searching world, Sonja Blue's world is terrifyingly real and it isn't just the vampyre that walks among us but all different shades, wraiths and demons.

Nancy A Collins' writing is exceptionally atmospheric and as much of a monster as she tries to make us believe this vampire killer of her own kin is, you find yourself feeling for this soul so tortured in her destiny. The books are bleak and dark and the violence is clearly defined and graphic, definitely not the best books to fall asleep reading.

As this incorporates the first three novels in the series it is the only place to start, it will leave you begging for more and fortunately there is more. However, if you like your vampires to be beauties in satin and lace then this denim and leather clad harpy will leave you cold outside, and sickened inside.

Summary: MOVE OVER LESTAT
Review: These must be the most perfect vampire books ever written. Sure it's comic book like but it is still the greatest vampire collection I have read.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Evil, dark, sinister, twisted, horrible, gruesome... PERFECT
Review: These three horrific books are the definition of dark fantasy. Never before have I read such a grafic and perfect book series. If you want to experience the pinacle of horror then read this book! I was more scared and impressed by this than I was by the works of Bram Stoker! BUY IT!

Summary: Uneven, but quite good.
Review: This book is a trilogy, Book One is very good, gets 5 stars, deals with the birth (and rebirth) of our protagonist. Has some very nice scenes dealing with her old family. Book Two has the look and feel of Nancy's editor telling her "We need a book". Nice scenes involving her trying to retain her humanity. 3 stars. Book Three is very good, touching on all the issues in the previous two books and the current one, and leaves the way (thankfully) open for the next in the series. 4 stars.

One very neat thing about the character is the way Ms. Collins adapts the typical vampiric birth scene to fit her needs.

Summary: Well-Paced, Good Development and Weaving of Plot
Review: This collection of books has to be one of the most entertaining reads in recent history. The first book, 'Sunglasses After Dark' serves as not a stand-alone book, but a stepping stone for things to come. The second book, 'In the Blood' is the best of the three, due to it's pacing. 'Paint it Black' most likely would be an action fans favorite, but my taste leans towards less action, more "in the mind".

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: A fast pace gruesome page-turner.
Review: This trilogy had me reading every chance I got. The story line was interesting and the characters interact perfectly-everyone fit into place. The first book, being the dullest of the three, was good enough to keep me reading, and I was glad enough when I finished the second. An over all good choice for a readaholic.
