Summary: Great page turner! An exotic, thriller! I loved it!
Review: My bookclub of 20 women read this book and 15 of the 20 found this book to be one of the bestwe've read! It's atypical. This mystery and supernatural story is compelling and a quick read. One zooms through this book. I emailed the author to put me on the notification list for the next book if it going to be a series. I loved it!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Intriguing, suspenseful and mystifying
Review: Loved this book!!! Recommended this book for my book club and everyone loved it. Can't wait for the sequel in 2000. This book had romance, mystery, suspense, and some horror. This writer is awesome; she is talented, and has a great imagination. This book was a refreshing welcome from the romance, self-help, and relationship novels. I can't say enough good things about it.

Summary: CAPTIVATING!
Review: I was a little skeptical about this book in the beginning, but once I got past the introduction, I was hooked! A friend read it with me and we both loved it. The ending was pretty weak compared to the rest of the book, but I recommend it for a good read!

Summary: It was wonderful!
Review: I read this book as a selection for my bookclub. I loved it. There is no guesswork here . . . you have to read it to the very end. It was everything a suspense/thriller should be. I cannot wait for her next book.

Summary: "I had dreams aboout the character Dawit"! 10 Stars!
Review: When I finished reading this excellent book. I could not concentrate or focus on another novel for 2 weeks! My mind was still in this book! Being an African-American Woman I was very tired of the "He say-She say" and "My Man did me wrong" type books,So this mix of romance/fantasy/horror with African- American characters was a nice change. I loved this book! I have told so many people about this book, even strangers!

Summary: Brilliant Novel!
Review: I thoroughly enjoyed this book! Ms. Due keeps getting better, and with this book, she's established herself as one of my fav writers. It's a bonafide page turner, and poses some real interesting questions about mortality that still have my mind spinning! Anyone who likes Ms. Due should also check out Brandon Massey, who wrote a horror novel entitled Thunderland. Another great read by an up-and-coming black writer! We still don't have enough of them!

Summary: So good it should be a movie.
Review: This book was excellent!!! One of the best books I have read. This book touched me so. I had such a good feeling after reading it. The love David/Dawit had for Jessica was just out of this world. Recommended to anyone who loves a good thriller/love story.

Summary: DO YOU REALLY WANT TO LIVE FOREVER?
Review: That's the question I kept asking myself over and over while reading this book. I had never heard of Ms. Due, nor had I ever read any sci-fi books. If someone had told me what the book was about, it wouldn't have interested me. But this book has become "The Best Book I've Ever Read". I've passed it on to everyone I know. Cheers to Tananarive Due. I'm going back to read "The Between".

Summary: Great Read!!
Review: Whew, was all I could say once I read "My Soul To Keep." For a first time Sci-Fi reader, I chose a great book and I am looking forward to more work by Ms. Due. This was a definite page turner, no doubt about that, and if I wasn't in college, I'd have probably dedicated a whole day into finishing this book. The begining was great, the ending was...different, but great, and the overall story was great. Now, if there was a sequel. Anything these days is believable, and Ms. Due made it such. This was a twist from all the other alien/immortal life that people say exist. I am in awe of the information that she provided. Hmm, makes me want to doubt a man who I thought was too perfect...

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Interesting Sci Fi
Review: ITCOMS Book Club all felt is was interesting and at times scared a few of us. The characters were very well developed. David/Dawitt was likeable. Dawitt broke all the rules: he grew to love mortals, he shared the secrets of the convenant, he wanted to make his wife and daughter immortal, he shared some of his musical knowledge with mortals and he separated himself from ths immortal group. Although this book was not really horror, it was THRILLING.
