Summary: Mesmerizing
Review: I have recently read Stranger With My Face and found it amazing. Lois Duncan is an excellent writer and I have read many of her books. This one has become my favorite so far. The eerie feeling I got from the story was a big help from the beautiful, mystifying, New England setting. Laurie was such a great character and I was chilled by Lia. She was so evil, yet in a way you had to love her character. I would recommend this book to all readers who love suspense and mystery. Lois Duncan is the perfect writer for these kinds of stories.

Summary: One of The best fiction books I've ever read
Review: This book has surprising twist and really interesting. I would have never guessed what her evil twin would do at the end. Lois Duncan is a good writer and she has her own style of writing. She creates more suspense than other writers.

Summary: Very unique with very good detail!
Review: Stranger with my face is about a girl, Laurie, whose life is taken over by her sister, Lia, who uses astral projection to see Laurie. At first Laurie doesn't mind because Lia was barely around but then she comes more and more often until she takes over her life. Lia has broken up some relationships between boyfriends and just friends of Laurie. She has also tried to kill Helen, her friend and Jeff her boyfriend. Now she is moving towards her sister, Megan. Will she be able to stop her before that?

Summary: READ THIS BOOK!
Review: This is probably my favorite Lois Duncan book. It is amazing how she makes the scenes so vivid. I like how she makes the charactors. I was impressed by the charactor of Jeff, because I could really feel sorry for him. The ending was really great! The charactor of Lia was really great! I didn't know what was going to happen until the end. I never will get tired of reading this book! I really think that you should read this book. If you read it, you will be so glad that you did, because it is so great. Really! I'm not kidding!

Summary: Great story, keep up the good work Lois Duncan!
Review: This was the first Lois Duncan book I read and I loved it. I really felt like I was the main character in the story. I'm glad my sister bought me the book or it probably would have been a long time before I knew about Lois Duncan. Lois Duncan is now one of my favorite authors. Thanks for writing Lois.

Summary: Excellent for teens -- or used-to-be-teens!!!!!!
Review: I first read STRANGER WITH MY FACE when i was 17 3/4 in 1985. I'm (gasp) 31 now, (but part of me is still a teenager at heart) and I still think it's xlent. Very imaginative, great sense of fantasy, perfect mix of the real life of a teen and pure make-believe, and a perfect mix of bright and dark. I loved the part where Laurie's twin was playing tonsil-hockey with Laurie's studly boyfriend, and I loved the way Laurie treated the character of Jeff -- as a human being, not as a freak. When I read this book as a young'un, I did think Laurie was kind of out of her mind to choose the disfigured Jeff as a boyfriend, rather than the gorgeous Gordon, but now that I'm older, I kind of changed my stance on that. I guess looks aren't as important when you're an adult as when you're 17 and can understand Laurie choosing Jeff over Gordon.
