Rating: Summary: Pretty good book. Review: This was the first Stephen King book I read. I liked it. I'm in my teens and I think it's something that my age group would like.
Rating: Summary: A book Review: I read the book and it was a werewolf story. No more, no less. Not too good, but not too bad either. The shortness made it a fair book.
Rating: Summary: Horrifying fast paced action, full of suspense! Review: This book is not for kids under 9. If they read this book it would wet their pants! Any lover of Stephen King's writing would appreciate this book for it's short, yet devestating plotline. I would also recommend watching the movie based upon this book, Silver Bullet. By:Ryan Joslin
Rating: Summary: Horrifying an very intense. Great pictures! Review: This was a very interesting book but I think it should have mentioned the family members of Marty Coslaw. Very intense pictures not much detail on the character of reverend Lowe. Need more action with the kills. By: Ryan Joslin
Rating: Summary: Not typical King, but a short good read Review: Yes, it is like a children's book, yes it is short, yes people buy it mainly because of the pictures but this is something that Stephen King has never done, and even though I thought the story wasn't scary and powerful, it reminds us of the old EC horror comics, brings the myth and full-moon legend and swaps it up in bits of King styles. I would reccomend this...and actually, i wished that he would write another one like this.
Rating: Summary: Good for younger generation horror Review: This book was pretty good. I have to admit that it wasn't one of the best unlike Christine or The Stand, But it held it's own. I would recommend this book to a little bit younger crowd like middle school. The horror is not at it's highest peak so it won't totally scare them.
Rating: Summary: Scary book Review: I loved this book. It is the perfect book to take outside on a windy dark summer night and get scared by the naibor cat half to death. One thing that some of the previous cridicts say about this book is that the shortness takes away from the book, well, it does't.
Rating: Summary: This book is one of the best short storys ever written. Review: The book in it self was one of the better short storys by Stephen King. More then likly when you hear of Stephen King you think of long term reading like: Cujo, Carrie, Mirsery, The Stand, and It. But if you want a break from longer reading and still would like horror in the picture try the colorful book Cycle of werewolfs. When you frist look at the book you will think of the kids book. But once you get started in the book you will see it's no kids book. It's one of the best pictoal books of horror and goar of it's kind. I advies ever person to read this book!
Rating: Summary: Gore. A little TOO much gore. Blood and guts and da whole 9. Review: I'm only 13 years old and have taken upon Stephen King as an excellent writer. Hell, I got my dad into reading Stephen King. The first one I read was "The Shining" and then "Pet Semetary". Then one day, a friend of my dad and me encouraged him to start reading. He started out by reading all 5 Richard Bachman books. Since then, I've read "Cujo", "Insomnia", "The Stand: Complete And Uncut", "Christine", "Cycle of the Werewolf", and now I'm reading "It". Cycle of the Werewolf was just a little too senseless for me. Yeah, sure, all werewolf stories are good but, damn! King was just too gory in this one. It was a good book though, I have to admit. I'm not saying it sucked. It was a very cool ass book. The End.
Rating: Summary: I liked the movie better for once. Review: I love stephen king's books but this one wasn't one of his best. If you get a chance, rent the movie Silver Bullett.
