Rating: Summary: 4 1/2 stars Review: This is my favorite book of the Cutler series. No other books of VC Andrews will get 5 stars unless they are the Flowers In the Attic series. You just cannot top those, but this is a great book. The Cutler series is very good, and this is the best book out of the whole thing. You just have to read the other books along with it to keep your timeline straight. You don't want to miss a minute. It keeps with the same pattern as VC Andrews books. First book introduces you to the new family and the main characters, the 2nd book they are of teenage years, 3rd they are pretty much grown up starting their own family, 4th is from their children's perspective, and 5th is taking you back to before the series began so you can find out why a main character that caused the heroine the distress was the way they were. It's fabulous that it is done this way, because when you finish them all you truly feel like you are a part of the family and that you know everything that you need to know about them. There are no loose ends when you finish and you feel totally satisfied and are able to move onto another series. Give the Cutler world a try, you'll be glad you did.
Rating: Summary: Twilights Child Review: This was a pretty good book. I'd have to say that I am enjoying the 4th book better than this one. But, it's still worth reading. It's just that in all V.C. Andrews books I realize that her characters although have different names, they seem to all be the same person on the inside. there is always a Mean person like a grandmother and a mom that is light headed and some kind of incest that happened and because of that incest there is someone who hates the person born from it. Its always the same all story with a differnt plot. But, I guess I keep buying it because I have nothing else better to do. I never buy these full price or new, I always check a half priced or used book store instead.
Rating: Summary: Enjoyable Review: This was a very enjoyable book. VC Andrews may be no literary genius, but just try to put down one of her books. I think of them like candy- a guilty pleasure you can't resist.
Again, this book is a struggle between good and evil. You'll love to hate several characters. And as each secret or development is revealed, you'll be shocked. If you've read other VC Andrews books, I'd give this series a chance, starting with Dawn. Or, if you like books with deceit, surprises and family struggles, I think you'll enjoy VC Andrews.
Rating: Summary: GREAT!~ [4 1/2] Review: This was ANOTHER good one not as good as Secrtes Of The Morning or Dawn but still good!
Rating: Summary: Action packed! Review: This was one of the best books of the whole Cutler series. There were many new revelations and many deaths and unhappiness. I'm rather disappointed that the next book will be told by Christie's point of view rather than Dawn's I've become rather attached to Dawn! Oh well! At the very end of the story I felt my first course of sympathy to Grandmother Cutler. The whole story has the perfect ending! I love V.C. Andrews books so much! They are twisted and evil. Yet at the same time they are marvelous and wonderful! Be sure to read The entire Cutler series I'm sure that the other ons will be just as good as the first three!
Rating: Summary: Lots of surprising twists Review: Twilight's Child is a very good book, but I don't really like Dawn in this nook, it bugs me how she says she hates Grandmother Cutler so much and she is turning into exactly what Grandmother Cutler was. It also bugs me how blind Jimmy was when it came to Fern. But I'm glad they ended Dawn's narriration with this book, it was a wonderful conclusion, I can't wait to read Midnight Whispers and Darkest Hour, I hear it's a wonderful book. Email me if you want to talk about VC Andrews' books!
Rating: Summary: The Best One Of The Cutler Series Review: V.C. Andrews is my favorite author. I love every book that she has every read. However, the Cutler series is my least favorite series. It's for reasons unknown, but I just don't think that it was the best series. Out of all of them "Twilight's Child" is my favorite. I think it's because of the strength and the growth of the character Dawn. It also seems there is more of a story in this one compared to "Dawn" and "Secrets".
