Rating: Summary: UnKoontz Review: This is a far cry from what Koontz is known for. The only thing that made me get to the end is that I am a loyal fan. If you want to read Koontz books, this is not the first one you should read. Try Sole Survivor, Intensity, or Lightning. Nice try, Dean
Rating: Summary: Chilling but Predictable Review: This was a nice easy read about, Mary a clairvoyant psychic, that has a troubled past and can "see" grisly murders while they happen. It is basically about her coming to grips with her past, while at the same time she is seeing a serial killer commit murders. I found it very predictable that you are intentionally mislead (knowing darn well the author was not going to give you that kind of info. on the killer) believe it was one character. I had no problem knowing who the killer would be after a character was abruptly removed from the story...only to be never heard from again???? yeah right. Well, all in all it was entertaining.

Rating: Summary: the book that got me to read!!! Review: well this book started it all for me. looking back it is not dean koontz's best work but it is good. i picked this book up on a whim because i had to do a book report for high school. i finished in two days and was instantly hooked on reading. this book is extremely important for me for that very reason. after reading this book i read all of dean koontz's other books. then i moved on to king and have been unable to stop reading every sense. if you dont like to read, at least give this book a chance. you wont be disappointed. great read!!
Rating: Summary: Good Book but kind of sick Review: well, this book is great, it is very interesting and kind of surprise at the end. And the sex part was kind of WEIRD.
Rating: Summary: I wouldn't want to be psychic... Review: Yes, this book explains why I would never want to be psychic. Too much stress!! However, psychics make for great stories & good reading! This book is about a woman who basically spends most of her time helping the police catch criminals using her psychic powers. It's not something she even really enjoys, it keeps her up at night & it's stressful on her marriage- however, she can't stop the visions. Especially the one, the one that seems to be trying to tell her something, the one leading her to evil...to someone she is close to. This book is a quick read, only about 300 pages, which is small for Koontz. It goes by in a flash, it'll keep you guessing until the end. I'll admit- I had two guesses on who I thought the "bad guy" was, one was right, but the ending still surprised me.
