Rating: Summary: THE BEST ANNE RICE BOOK EVER WROTE Review: Forget The Vampire Chronicles, I mean they themselves are excellent, but Anne Rice has surpased herself with this Book, It is the best book i have ever read. I have read it about 50 times and it just gets better. THE ONLY THING I WANT TO COMMENT ON IS THE FACT THAT ANNE RICE SHOULD WRITE A FOLLOW UP RIGHT NOW.
Rating: Summary: The best Anne Rice Novel! Review: I didn't want to put this book down. I want to read a sequal to this character. He is mesmerizing and charismatic. If you like history, romance and horror, this is the book for you!
Rating: Summary: The Mummy is a fabulous story Review: It started quickly and was very fast paced. Anne Rice explains things excellently, it's almost as if you can see those characters there in front of you. It's as if, you feel what they are feeling. I was expecting it to be a horror story, but it was actually a beautiful story of love, hate, revenge, death, and life
Rating: Summary: Fantastic Review: Waiting for the next Mummy book. When will it be???
Rating: Summary: I took the longest time to read this book ! Review: I never read any stories as lovely as this. I always love everything about archeology, yes! But I never thought a fiction can be that captivating. I simply intriqued by the title the first time I saw it, and can't stop reading once I started. It amazed me since this is the first book that took me more than a few hours to read it ! It made me impatient to continue yet it compelled me to read the previous pages as well ! Anne makes Ramses seems human like the rest of us. For hours I tried to make a sketch of Cleopatra since you make me obsessed about her . I LOVE THIS NOVEL ! Please write the sequel Anne
Rating: Summary: Erotic, captivating Review: Once again, Anne Rice pulls you into a twisting tale filled with eroticism, mystery and suspense. In The Mummy, an immortal king is brought back from the dead (or un-dead) and manages to seduce every character with his charms. Rice paints a world that is intensely real, and events that are horribly possible. I dreaded finishing this book
Rating: Summary: WONDERFUL--BUT WHERE,S THE SEQUEL I,VE BEEN WAITING!!!!! Review: MASTERLY DONE HOWEVER ,IT LEFT THE READER WONDERING COULD THERE BE ANOTHER ONE? I PERSONALLY HOPE THERE IS .IN REFERANCE TO THE WITCHES SERIES- I WISH AND HOPE TO GOD THERE IS A FOURTH MAYFAIR WITCHES STORY COMPLETING THE THIRD BOOK "TALTOS"IN WHICH THE GIRL TALTOS AND THE OLDER MAN TALTOS MEET AND GO OFF TOGETHER. THAT LEAVES THE WHOLE TRILOGY IN MYSTIQUE BUT LEAVES THE VIEWER UNSATISFIED
Rating: Summary: RICE TOPPLES KING Review: Anne Rice has done it again. This book has convinced me that she truely is the "master of horror". This book makes you want to visit Egypt and see all its majestic places. Rice convinces the reader that Ramses II is immortal and is living today
Rating: Summary: Magical, mystical, and pure Anne Rice Review: To true Rice devotees, The Mummy (or Ramses the Damned)is much more than just a book that happens to be mentioned inside of her more popular books, like Interview with the Vampire and
the Witching Hour.. this book oozes with history, intrigue,
and sensuality unlike any other Rice offering. The interplay
between Julie and Ramses is positively smashing, and the reader
begs to know what will happen as they turn the page.. and have
a sense of sweet frustration at the end, longing for more..
will she stay with the good Alex.. or be tempted by Ramses?
Only the sands of Egypt will tell. A classic Rice read!
Rating: Summary: I fell in love... Review: at first sight with Ramses! Anne Rice is superb at making her characters come really alive. Ramses has all of the qualities any girl dreams of, and I couldn't put the book down. This is one of those rare books that you want to continue on and never end. I am looking hungrily for the sequel. Anne...please
