Review: Forget The Vampire Chronicles, I mean they themselves are excellent, but Anne Rice has surpased herself with this Book, It is the best book i have ever read. I have read it about 50 times and it just gets better. THE ONLY THING I WANT TO COMMENT ON IS THE FACT THAT ANNE RICE SHOULD WRITE A FOLLOW UP RIGHT NOW.

Review: I never read any stories as lovely as this. I always love everything about archeology,yes! But I never thought a fiction can be that captivating. I simply intriqued by the title the first time I saw it, and can't stop reading once I started. It amazed me since this is the first book that took me more than a few hours to read it ! It made me impatient to continue yet it compelled me to read the previous pages as well ! Anne makes Ramses seems human like the rest of us. For hours I tried to make a sketch of Cleopatra since you make me obsessed about her . I LOVE THIS NOVEL ! Please write the sequel Anne

Review: To true Rice devotees, The Mummy (or Ramses the Damned)is much more than just a book that happens to be mentioned inside of her more popular books, like Interview with the Vampire and the Witching Hour.. this book oozes with history, intrigue, and sensuality unlike any other Rice offering. The interplay between Julie and Ramses is positively smashing,and the reader begs to know what will happen as they turn the page.. and have a sense of sweet frustration at the end, longing for more.. will she stay with the good Alex.. or be tempted by Ramses? Only the sands of Egypt will tell. A classic Rice read!
