Review: This was my first Anne Rice book, and I have to say that it certainly will not be my last. I thought that this book was wonderfully written. The author managed to pull off an almost impossible plot, and not only make it almost plausable, but something that you want to read again and again. And for a book that I just randomly picked up off the shelf, it has opened up a whole new genre of books that are not just classic horror stories, but require depth of thought and a look into times past and present. So, basically, if you're bored with the old fiction, and want to try something new, The Mummy is for you! And also before I go I would also like to join in the cry a sequel. PLEASE!

Review: I read this book when it first came out several years ago and I AM STILL WAITING FOR A SEQUEL. PLEASE DO ONE, I AM BEGGING YOU ANNE RICE. This is the most romantic, erotic and horror filled novel I have ever read,and I have read it around 100 times.

Review: I read this book years ago, and loved it. So much so, in fact, that I'm STILL awaiting the sequel... several years after having read the book. I have to believe that Ms. Rice or one of her publishers or publicists reads these reviews, so please let her know that millions are waiting to hear more from these characters!

Review: from the moment i started the book, i couldn't put it down. I love how anne rice is able to talk about history, and not bore you with it at the sametime! I cant wait for the sequel and i hope it comes out...(it there is one). The book is full of feeling and you feel as if your one of the characters within the story.

Summary: A well wrote consuming story.
Review: I was very lucky, i read this book while living in egypt. I stayed at the shephard helnan hotel, where i started the book. I read most of it while at the museum, got some odd looks but it was worthwile to be surrounded by antiqite and reading the story also. I feel this is one of and on par with her best books, cant wait for the sequel.
