Summary: This one is a keeper!
Review: Don't lend this book to anyone - chances are you'll never get it back! And believe me, you'll want to read it again. The ladies will fall in love with Ramses, the guys will wish they had his powers! THIS is the Mummy book about which they should have made the movie!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: So captivating you lose all sense of reality!!!
Review: This is truly one of Rice's best books I have read by far. I didn't think anything could turn my interest from her vampire's but this book did it. The story of Ramses is so captivating you are their with him and really feel for him. I was completely taken away to Egypt in this book and couldn't put it down. I wish it would have never ended. If anyone knows of any book as intriguing or on somewhat of the same subject (egypt orientated) please email me. Everyone who truly loves Anne Rice's writing must read this!!!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Wonderful Book! A Must Read!
Review: I love this book! It's different from the Vampire Chronicles, the books that made me an Anne Rice fanatic. Nevertheless, I still devoured this book. It is pure Anne Rice. The book tangled with philosophical questions. One can relate to the characters. People READ this book! It is an awesome book and you won't regret it!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Excellent fast-paced story. I couldn't put it down.
Review: Anne Rice gives us a new twist on the old mummy horror stories. She gives us "Ramses the damned" a human who is doomed to walk the earth alone forever. She explores the concept of being the only person with immortallity, the power to grant immortallity and the tremendous burden this secret carries. Ramses lives for 1 thousand years without sharing immortallity. The fear of this power causes him to lose his true love. He then locks himself away and sleeps for 2 thousand years only to be awakened in the early 1900's.

I couldn't put the book down. My wife also read it and she too loved the book. This is an excellent story but not a true horror story. It's more a human interest fiction. The Mummy is highly recommended.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: One of Anne Rices better books.
Review: Ok Anne, I've been waiting for years for the sequel to be written. This book is a great break from the endless vampire books and is begging for the story to continue. What happens next? This is one of your better books that draws the reader in without the shifting back and forth in time. Please, no more vampires and no more witches, the mummys of the world need your attention!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Anne Rice at her best
Review: I've never been able to get through an Anne Rice book so enthusiaticaly as with the Mummy. I don't like her other book so much, but The Mummy is an exception. I love this book and have read it many times.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Don't start if you wanna stop
Review: I think this is one of Anne Rice's best novels. She gave me the chills about mummies, but also showed me the human side of them. I think this is a very passionate novel which at the same time shows the beauty and glory of Egypt, something different to the description in Ramses, by Christian Jaque.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A compelling tale
Review: This is one of the best books I've read this year...it shows the beauty of all things Egyptian and also the seductiveness of immortality(which is included in a lot of Anne Rice's books). She has woven a wonderful, darkly exciting story, and it is worth reading again and again.

Summary: I thought this book was perfect!
Review: I thought that this book was absolutely fabulous and loved every word. Frankly I hate reading but a few years ago in grade 9 I had to do a book report, so I picked this book thinking it was going to be boring. Although the moment I picked it up I was hooked I couldn't put the book down, I was up until 3 in the morning sometimes. As I read this book I felt as if I was really there as if it was real. I feel bad for those who gave this book such a poor rating that they couldn't get away from reality of their world and enter the world of the characters. I really hope that there will soon be a sequel to this book but in the meantime I will wait anxiously. P.S. I think this is one of the greatest books ever written in our century, it didn't put me asleep!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Superb, excellent! A romantic fantasy at it's best!
Review: This was an amazing book! It was riveting from beginning to end. I had a hard time putting it down. It had everything, action, mystery, romace, suspence. I would love to see a movie of this book if done right!

PLEASE ANYONE POST A MESSAGE YOU KNOW OF A SEQUEL TO THIS BOOK!!!!!!
