Rating: Summary: I agree all of your reviews. Review: After I read POP GOES THE WEASEL, I wanted to read another thriller. I was searching through books until I see that this book has 5 stars. So when I read the reviews, I got the book and read it. After that, I was amazed. This is a great book! So what I'm trying to say is that your should agree to these opinions . What is also suprisingly is that my mother reads alot of books, she said she is interested in reading this book!
Rating: Summary: Excellent second book by Prescott! Review: Comes the Dark was great, but Stealing Faces was excellent. Believable characters, lots of suspense and very exciting. I couldn't put it down and read it in one day. Looking forward to another novel by this author.
Rating: Summary: Excellent! Review: Everything about this book was excellent. I think what made it a really good book for me to read was I live in Tucson, Arizona, and have been on several occasions to the White Mountains and Safford. Because of this I could picture exactly where the story was taking place and so on. This book was very real to me!!
Rating: Summary: Once started, you can't put it down! Review: From the preface on, I was captured by this book. Never once was I caught in a 'slow' part waiting for the suspense to pick up. The plot was solid on quite a freaky subject and I never knew where the story would turn. If anyone is a fan of suspense, then this is a book for them.
Rating: Summary: Prescott doesn't lose face with this book. Review: Hannibal Lecter, move over. Dr. John Cray is the new resident psycho physician on the ward. Hannibal the Cannibal took one victim's face in SILENCE OF THE LAMBS in order to effect his escape. Dr. John Cray, who runs a mental hospital, makes this a habit. His signature is as chilling as the M.O.Then, to his astonishment, Cray begins to suspect that someone is actually stalking him! The events are contorted and twisted with gleeful abruptness by "newcomer" Prescott and you would swear that Cray's captured victim will never escape his deadly web of deceit. Of course, Cray's uncharacteristically sloppy handling of incriminating evidence is the only implausible part in the whole book but it doesn't mar what will prove to be a fine thriller by the author of COMES THE DARK and THE SHADOW HUNTER.
Rating: Summary: This is an awesome book Review: I couldn't put this book down. If it wasn't in my hands, it was in my mind. I kept picking it up and reading and finished it so quickly, I started reading it again! He's that good. If you want to scared, and you demand excellent writing, facinating characters, and a complex villain, read this book.
Rating: Summary: Wow! Review: I don't know what book Lisa from California read, but it sure wasn't this one. I thought the motivation of Cray's actions were well explained. I read a LOT of books and this one kept me on edge right up to the end. Prescott knows his stuff. What a thriller. Can't wait for the next one.
Rating: Summary: Smiling Faces Review: I enjoyed this book even though I did have trouble sleeping at night. I found this book extremely well written. The characters in my mind were very well thought of and I could almost visualize them in my mind. It is in some ways like those books that you already know what might happen, yet there are twists and turns that keep you hooked until the very end.I wish the book was longer though I couldn't wait to finish it because it was so exciting. When I did finish it I didn't want the story to end.
Rating: Summary: Very suspenseful... Review: I found this to be a very good book with an interesting storyline and plot. I will look for books by this author in the future! Very talented writer!
Rating: Summary: sensational Review: i have only recently found Michael Prescott, & i cannot get enough of his writing. his character development, the twists & turns he provides make for an incredibly believable read. The Shadow Hunter & Stealing Faces are 2 of the best reads i have ever read & if he keeps this style up , guys like James Patterson & Geoffery Deaver will, in my humble opinion, have a serious contender. Cant wait to read Comes The Dark.
