Summary: Intense, vivid, captivating
Review: There's nothing better than a book that won't let you put it down until the last page is read! The author is relentless in his determination to hold you from beginning to end. Graphically well written. The scenes vividly play out on the big screen of the imagination as if you are watching the panic and terror from the shadows. It's a futuristic horror/thriller that will leave you wondering, "could this really happen?"

This is a book I will read again, just for the thrill of it!

Summary: A Fun First Novel
Review: This first published venture into the world of science-fiction/horror for Mr. Churchill is a very pleasant success. The structure of his first work is not as sound as it could be, but the read is fast, and fun for all those who love a "bloody" good time.

The future: a group of mercenaries are traveling to bring an infected ship back to earth for further study. The only thing they dont know is that they have been set up in a government plot, and soon they are fighting for their lives, and fighting not to have their souls taken, and be brought back to life as blood-thirsty, mindless zombies!

Mr. Churchill definitely has a flare for this genre, and despite some flaws in his overall voice for the story, it still makes for a great action adventure, full of gore, zombies, creatures, and revenge. He really develops all of the characters in his story, and draws the reader into this dark world.

I totally reccommend this book; not for the faint of heart, plenty of blood and guts, but definitely for those who are fans of a sci-fi story with a good plot.

Mr.Churchill's career is only beginning to grow here, and his maturity as a writer is much more apparent in his next work, and I can't wait for this third novel...and his fourth!

P.S. I've also heard that Mr. Churchill is going to re-edit and re-release this novel, so keep an eye out for that one too!

Summary: A rollicking fun, scary horror-adventure saga!
Review: Vince Churchill proves himself to be a strong contender in the arena of escapist fiction. The author deftly weaves many genres - action, horror, sci fi - into one action-packed tale of space mercenaries who undertake a rescue mission and unwittingly serve the hidden agenda of a futuristic politician with an eye to the World Presidency. Churchill is gifted with a vibrant imagination, and he provides us with a parade of colorful monsters that will mesmerize fans of the macabre. Rabid zombies, vampire vines, and swarms of flesh-eating grubs populate these pages, with the aforementioned politician ably representing the 'human monster' contingency.

The flaws in this book are relatively minor - on a purely technical level, there are occasional grammatical errors and misspellings, which can be somewhat distracting from an otherwise fun and fast-paced read. And as a female fan of horror and sci fi genres, I was disappointed by the depiction of the female characters - each is described repeatedly in terms of her sexual desirability, and even the most battle-hardened woman warrior turns to putty under the male protagonist's gaze. (Ick!)

However, my overall impression is that Churchill's story is a rollicking fun read and is well worth tackling if you're in the mood for a scary horror-adventure saga. I'll certainly look forward to his next novel!

Summary: Zombies in space?
Review: When I first read the synopsis for this book, I was thinking, "oh great put zombies in space, We put Jason in space and a Leprechaun in space, yeah lets do this in literature as well and ruin the zombies.' Well I ate those thoughts after reading this. Churchill made it work wonderfully blending the worlds of Sci-fi and horror with awesome characters and action. I love his descriptions of the zombies and could easily visualize what was happening. Now I am waiting for the film!!!!! Where is it?

Summary: The Dead Shall Inherit The Earth
Review: Wow!! A sci-fi meets horror combo. Well written. You get caught up in the story from the very beginning, not able to guess where the author is taking you, which definitely adds to the horror side of things. If you are ready to experience space travel unlike you have ever read before, then this is DEFINITELY the book to read. I have never read this authors' work before, but I will continue to look for his work in the future.
