Summary: In Your Face Sci-Fi
Review: A distant planet, a virus that drives you mad and a cloud that brings mutilated, decaying corpses back to life what more could you ask for. Oh, a little romance too. This campy thriller keeps the action rolling. One of the few books I have read that makes me close my eyes before I turn the next page. The dialogue can be a bit too machismo at times. But the gore is great! I am looking forward to this authors future blood soaked adventures.

Summary: Imaginative! Great read
Review: Gale, the lead character is almost addictive. The sly, cunning, sexiness to him makes you jealous of any other woman in the book. He's smart, senistive yet ultra-masculine. The only thing he lacked was a more vivid picture of him and his past. The characters of the crew were perfect matches. I caught myself playing favorites between Maggie and Helena. They both had qualities to them that make you like them. Maggie being a beautiful, exotic yet strong and powerful woman. Hidden behind a feminine desk the most of her days but strong enough to fight with the best of them on the missions. Helena, who I didn't feel I knew enough about, portrayed to me the strong woman who goes after what she wants. The simple beauty.

The plot itself is incredible. Star Trek meets Hannible (in germ form). It's anything but predictable.I definitley enjoyed this one, and I look forward to more to come!

Summary: It's OK
Review: Great read. The characters are well developed and the entire book was a joy to read. From the beginning the reader is drawn into a sexy and dark futuristic earth. Fast paced and action packed, the book is well worth a read by any sci-fi or horror genre fan. Down to earth dialogue and a plot that weaves politics, revenge and heroics into a non-stop thrill ride. A great first novel from an author who delivers an entertaining and thought provoking tale. I can't wait to read his newest novel The Blackest Heart!

Summary: So Gross and Good...Can't Wait to See the Movie
Review: Great vacation read. I read this in 4 days sitting on a beach chair in the Bahamas. Totally captivating descriptions of ghore and undead and superhumans. Visually rich, stimulated my imagination. Loved the Vampire Vines. I don't really read horror or sci-fi but this was so fun, I couldn't wait to turn the page. It's the perfect selection for a short fun hair-tingling read.

Summary: Also waiting for the movie
Review: I am not usually a sci-fi fan, but I do love a good horror story! This book gave me that, plus a bit of eroticism to not only hold my interest, but to keep me enthralled. It was a bit gruesome in places, but I loved it!!! Definitely a good addition alongside my King, Koontz, and Saul.
I can't wait to read more of Mr. Churchill's work!

Summary: Frolicking Fun for a Freshman Foyer
Review: I genuinely enjoyed Vince's freshman foyer into the literary world. Vince's earthy approach was vibrantly colored with rich character texture. I felt that the character dynamics, as well at the horror construct, were the book's strongest traits. By reaching the conclusion of his book, I felt that each character was a long lost friend, whom I both mourned and celebrated. I highly recommend this book. You will be seeing much more of Vince, in the future. He's certainly an up-and-comer.

Summary: Very well written sci fi horror
Review: I have read a few zombie books. Reign of the dead, reign of the dead: Apocloypse but this book is the best of them all. The story is so well written it keeps you interested throughout. Yes there are gramtical errors but the way he details things and explains the story is well written - unlike the reign of the dead books. Also, this book is very different than those other books. Those books are straight up "dawn of the dead" type books. This is a "twist" to the genere.

if you are looking for a book that can be turned into an Oscar award winning movie, look elsewhere. This book should appeal to people who like zombie type books and are looking for something different.

Summary: Promising Writer
Review: I liked this book but I didn't love it (Horror/Scif Fi are not my favorite genres). I think the writer has a lot of potential but thought he could use a good editor to aid with organization and streamline the whole thing. There's lots of imagination here and the writer really knows his genre. A good first effort. I look forward to seeing how this gentleman progresses.

Summary: Great Book!
Review: I read this book from cover to cover in one sitting! The author succeeds in taking the reader through every emotion possible. I laughed, I cried, I got angry, I grimaced with disgust, I felt the heat of passion, and I cringed in fear. I can't wait to read Mr. Churchill's next book.
