Summary: The Ending Sucked!
Review: I would have given this book a 5 star rating but I hated The Ending of it. I didn't like what he did to one of the vampires at the end of the story. I'm thinking of not even reading the rest of the saga. Other then that this book is one of the best books I have ever read. "I read a lot of books."

Summary: THE BEST BOOK!!!...
Review: Let me start by saying that if you want a vampire book that is taken to a totally different level. here you are...the book is excellent. It gripped me from the first chapter to the last.(I couldn't put it down, so i read it in one day) It takes a theme on vampires that is unlike any other yet applied to a logic that can be followed. Just a terrific read!!!

Summary: Dark, But Fascinating...
Review: Of Saints and Shadows is a dark, gory novel of vampires, sex and blood. There's graphic violence, death, and orgies liberally scattered throughout the story. If the darkest of vampire novels draws you, you'll like this one. It's a bit too heavy on the violence/pornography for some people, but if that doesn't bother you, go ahead & read it. The action and suspense, drama and emotional tangles will appeal to all fans of dark fantasy. The characters are intriguing, and they fight a battle unnoticed by the majority of mankind.

I recommend this book highly to fans of vampires, hard action, and dark fantasy.

Summary: An Intriguing Take on Vampires
Review: Somewhat confusing at first, it eventually overcomes a slow start and draws you into a world where vampires are like people...there's some good ones, some bad ones, and lots in the middle. And the Catholic Church? They're evil...well, not all of them, but if you're a conspiracy believer, this is your "bread and butter." Seems the Vatican has been controlling dark magic and the forces of Hell for many years now. Go figure. A recommend on my list

Summary: the book is good, slow to start, great to finish.
Review: The book is something i have mixed feelings for.I will tell you strait off that this is the first vampire book i have read, and also that I now plan to read a lot more.It is a little slow to start but at about mid-way through the title,i found myself unable to put it down, something a book hasnt done to me in a long while. It is much diffrent than the usaual vampire things you have read/seen,it comes up with fresh new ideas that will constantly keep you reading. Some of the character devolpement is subpar but it isnt going to be perfect.

Summary: Vampires as the good guys, different and unique.
Review: The story was quite entertaining, Christopher's Vampires were done more as unique creatures with human qualities. We saw them as the good guys through the eyes of humans and also each other

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A war between Good and Evil.
Review: The Vatican has been fighting evil for centuries. One branch of the Vatican, unknown to much of the world, has been fighting with the shadow creatures with magic, fire and silver blades. The Church has learned to control much of the creatures of hell, but for one race, the Defiant Ones, who refuse to be controlled or wiped out.
Now the soldiers, magicians and sorcerers of the Church plan to bring about the final battle, to wipe the Defiant Ones off the face of the Earth and finally crush Evil. No matter WHAT the cost to the Church or mankind itself.
But the Defiant Ones, known by the name of vampires to the common masses, are not so sure they're the EVIL ones in this little play. And they don't plan to go down without a fight.
From the streets of Boston to the canals of Venice the conflict between the vampires and the mages will rage. Who will win? Who IS the Good side?

Summary: WOW
Review: This book blew all traditonal thoughts on the vampire myth out the window... This book was original, creative and showed us that Golden has more talent than Buffy can handle.
