Rating: Summary: spooky and haunting! Review: This is the type of horror story in which you feel the characters pain. You realy get caught up in the story
Rating: Summary: My first John Saul book! Review: This was my first introduction to the unforgettable style of John Saul! Afterwards,I loved every single book he wrote! This book is my all-time favorite as it sucks the reader into this creepy,psychologically-intense story of the darker side of evil.
Rating: Summary: Couldn't put it down! Review: This was the first Saul novel I've read and I'm ready for more. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. It was so good - I read it in one sitting. The book will keep you guessing till the end. I disagree with what one reviewer said about the main characters being annoying and/or victims. I thorougly enjoyed it. Where can I get more?!
Rating: Summary: Should have been a ghost story. Review: This was the third John Saul book I have read, and like the others I found the plot very promising but the ending disappointing. I was put off by the fact that Nathaniel was real, and not the ghost of Abby Randolph's son like you were led to believe. Despite the story not living up to my expectations, it was still an enjoyable enough read. However, I would recommend reading a book by King or Koontz before giving John Sauls world of demented children with mind powers a try.
