Review: This book Isn't as good as I would hope. It is to brief, it gets scary in the last twenty pages. If you want a good scary novel, go towards Cujo or The Exorcist. Maybe even try reading Watchers, that is a great book, but don't bother with Carrie!

Summary: An excellent first book by the now well known Mr. King
Review: I decided to grab this book on a whim, because of all the hoopla surronding the new movie (Carrie 2: The Rage) which is loosely based on the first movie, which is in turn based on the book. I am pleased to say that this was a unique book; a simple premise of a girl who didn't fit in taken to the extreme! I read the whole book in just under a day, and this tale just screams justified vengence, and left me whirling in the end; an incredible first book by Mr. King (it IS after all twenty five years old, and has aged remarkably well). Here is a 22 year old guy putting his thumbs up for a true classic!

Review: Carrie showed no strength in the beginng. Due to the fact that her mother was a wack job and needed her own help. Thsi book was the best Stephern King book besides Misery and Dolorses Claiborne. I can't wait till he writes another book. Yipppee!!!

Review: This book is one of King's greatest stories. The plot is very intriguing. You expect Carrie White to get even with the bullies at her school, but not in the way it actually happens. I loved the book and the movie. I would recommend it to anyone.

Review: I think Stephen King's Carrie is a excellect book I think Stephen King is an excellent writer,but he could have made Carrie a little more interesting.I guess I feel like this because Carrie is a harder book for me to understand because I'm only 13,but Stephen King's books are for pre-adults maybe they would unerstand it better then me.

Review: This book is a true work of Stephen King. He is at his best with this book of cult and gore, a true crowd pleaser. The description and realism that he creates is indescribable. Yet at the same time he creatively mixes horror with a story about a girl who didn't fit in. Remarkble, truly.

Summary: One of King's Best Works!
Review: As with all of the King books I've read, I was unable to put this one down. King did a fantastic job of presenting the reader with a character you can feel sorry for in a situation which is very real. Although I loved this book, I felt that it did not deserve 5 stars because of the long, exhausting news and magazine clips printed throughout the book. It would have been better had he simply stuck with the main story rather than confusing readers with senseless interviews. Other than that, this book was excellent and I would suggest it to anyone who has a lust for horror and drama!
