Rating: Summary: Great Read Review: One of King's Top 10. This is the First King book I ever read and it gave me the creeps from the first page and I could not put it down.
Rating: Summary: "Darling".......... Review: King has the habit of scaring you one minute andmaking you throw up the next. The whole idea of a nice nuclear familymoving to a nice new house, good neighbours and then in the space of a hundred and odd pages,Gage has bit the dust, Zeldas pissing Racheal off and Louis is trying to work out what the hell is going on with "Paxcow.." I think this book, which will never become a classic outside the horror genre, has proven that only occasionaly that what ever you do...dont turn off the light!!!!! John Mains (Edinburgh, Scotland) END
Rating: Summary: READ IT NOW Review: A few months back, i was riding home from my grandmothers house Penn., when we stopped at a flea market. I went to the book section. I found an intresting looking book called 'Pet Sematary' and bought it. I read it on the ride home and since then the only books i get are by Stephen King. Being the first book i read by him, i thought it started off slow so when i got to the 360th page i was like, 'Oh man, im almost done and nothing cool is happening yet'. I was wrong. I realized that the book is very well crafted. It builds up to an unforgetabble climax that will leave you amazed. From Louis Pascows brains hanging out of his head, to Juds endless stories about the pet sematary, it all builds up and scares the hell out of you. If you haven't read this book, do it now. And if you cant read, either learn to or see the movie. This a damned good scare.
Rating: Summary: Never judge a book by it's cover Review: When I first started reading Pet Sementary I thought that it'd be fast pasted and would make me wet myself because of the cover. I was wrong, it was very slow at first. I kept waiting for something to happen. There was a few good moments in the book but I was ready to put that book down. But you shouldn't do that as I found out. It may have been slow in the beginning but boy did it get exciting at the end. It makes your whole body get all stingly and if someone touched you you'd probably scream. I recommend this book to anyone that wants to get a good scare!!!
Rating: Summary: KING'S MOST TERRIFYING TO DATE. Review: Horrifying and gross. If you love horror, you have to read this book. The ending is a real shocker.
Rating: Summary: The best book I ever read Review: I had never read a book before in my life. Then my parents and I were going on a long road trip, so I thought what the hell.I picked (Pet Sematary) off my shelf which I had bought 3 years ago cause I thought that the cover was cool.Well the second I opened up the cover and read the first page I didn't stop till page 100.I was so amazed that King could open up my eyes and mind to reading that that's all I do anymore. Stephen King seems to know everyons fear. Does he know your's? Tom Quibell
Rating: Summary: The best book i've ever read. Review: This was the first book I ever read by Stephen King, and let me say, I was blown away! It builds up a creepy climax so scary and suprising
it leaves you in shock. It dosen't get really creepy until Pascow appears in Louis's dreams
with his skull cracked open and his brain hanging out. Now that's good litterature!! It is an awesome book even though the end is depressing but mabye thats how it's supposed to be. Other books i loved were NEEDFUL THINGS, CHRISTINE, and DESPERATION.
The movie of this is awesome to so check it out
Rating: Summary: Brrrrrrr! Review: Stephen King is known to be the scariest writer of this century. We all knnow Misery, Carrie, Shining and...Pet Sematary!
The people who saw the movie will certainly more appreciate this terrifying book about a doctor and his family being haunted by ghosts. When Louis Creed, a young doctor, and Rachel, his wife mother of two children, arrive at their new house in the Maine(is there one Stephen King book that doesn't takes place in the Maine?!),they reaaly don't know they live behind an old Indian cemetary. But when they begin to make strange nightmares and to see horrific ghosts(the people who saw the movie certainly remember of Zelda, the sick and monstruous sister of Rachel), they realize they're in deep trouble!
Certainly one of King's best, Pet Sematary will scare you and interest you. You can't stop reading until the last page. And on warning : don't read it at night 'cause you'll never sleep!
Excellent!
Rating: Summary: Absoloutley Terrorizing Review: This was the second King book I have read and I must say, it absoloutly blew my mind. Just thinking about it gives me the chills. The horribly specific details was the main part it was so gripping. I am having a hard time deciding if I will read another if they are as scary as this one. This is definately not a book to read before bed time. Readers beware... this book will leave you afraid of the dark for months
Rating: Summary: I loved this book because it is so scarie Review: I tink this book is greate because it is so scarie. I am 12 years old and I tink it rates with the following: Fantastic Four 42, Classic Comic Edition of Dracula, R.L. Stein's Voodoo Vomit Zombies. I liked the ending the best when everybody got killed and everything
