Rating: Summary: Stephen King at his best! Review: This is one of Stephen King's most frightening works! I couldn't put it down! Believe me, this book will scare the heck out of you and leave you begging for more. Read it!
Rating: Summary: Pet Sematary Review: This a a really good book. It is the scariest story I have ever read. For ages 14 and up.
Rating: Summary: Great Review: Yes, the end is great, but the beginning and middle may be better. It is actual writing. It is my opinion that the name is unfortunatebecause it brings to mind a horror story and while this had elements of horror (and is indeed the scariest book King has ever written) they are a psychological horror and the book to the surprise of many has a great deal of literary merit. It is a heartfelt and yet frightening examination of death that would be considered one of the great books of the last 2 decades had the title not scared away too many "experts" It is the best book King has written by far.
Rating: Summary: Stephen King's view of a pet sematary Review: I like how the book keep you tuned in to it, and though the book you wanted to keepreading. The book was way better than the movie. My favorite character was Louis Creed. My favorite scene was when they all went down the path to the pet seminary. The scene was what kind of started the book and the story line. This book is medium reading level.
Rating: Summary: DO NOT READ THIS BOOK! Review: Please do yourself a favor. Don't read a book like this that scares the HELL out of you! The number of times i looked over my shoulder and the number of times i FELT fear was more than i care to suffer. This is THE MOST INTENSE, SCARIEST NOVEL I HAVE EVER READ. That is why it rules.
Rating: Summary: You have to wait Review: I read this book and as I got halfway through I thought that it was extremely boring. The book finally gets exciting at the end of the story. Although the main part of the book takes forever to get through, the end is worth waiting for
Rating: Summary: If You Only Read One Stephen King Novel, Make It This One! Review: It's a shame that so many of Stephen King's books are made into really awful movies, and this is especially true of 'Pet Sematary'. Stephen King got it exactly right in this book. It's tight, compact, mesmerizing, and above all, it's scary as hell. King often over-writes ('It' should have been sliced in half and 'The Stand' is actually better in the abridged paperback version than in the overblown hardcover original), but there is not a word wasted in 'Pet Sematary'. If (hopefully) you haven't seen the terrible movie version, then you're in for a delicious surprise. I'm not going to even hint at what the book is about; suffice to say that halfway through you get an inkling of what is about to come, and even so, King keeps the suspense and the terror building until you can't bear to read any more and can't bear not to. If you've ever wondered if there is anything worse than death, the answer is in these pages: Yes... very much worse.
Rating: Summary: Kings Greatest Review: Having just reread Pet Sematary for the 8th time, I am reminded of just how much I love this book, and just how great a storyteller Mr King is. From the first page of this book, I was riveted (again), and totally there in Ludlow. Every feeling and emotion that Louis felt, I felt too. This is just a superb book, which I guarantee, NEVER loses its totally absorbing quality. Stephen King at his finest.
Rating: Summary: Can fiction scare you? Review: This novel would have to come close to my favourite SK book.Pet Sematary is vintage king,it as all the elements of the ultimate horror story.A very disturbing tale that is a complete page turner and you get the feeling that you are involved in the tale .As king as said if horror fiction is a rehearsal for death, then this novel is a danse macabre. Can fiction really scare you? Pet Sematary answers that...
Rating: Summary: King's best horror novel Review: I've read pretty much allof what Stephen King has to write (with the exception of 3 recent novels), and I have to say that "IT" and "Pet Sematary" are the only two REAL horror books he has written ("Christine" does come pretty close too) It keeps you engrossed and page turning like no other King book I've read. It is second only to "The Stand" in terms of character development and is one of the most freakiest books I've read! If you are tired of the drama books that King seems to be writing lately, and long for more eerie reading, "Pet Sematary" is the book to read. You will see why he is called "The Master of Horror"
