Review: THIS WAS THE FIRST LOI DUNCAN BOOK I EVER READ! MY BEST FRIEND LENT IT TO ME. NOW I'M GLAD SHE DID LEND IT TO ME! I WASN'T THAT BIG A MYSTERY FAN UTIL I READ THIS BOOK. IT WAS VERY SUSPENSEFUL. IT KEPT ME ON THE EDGE OF MY SEAT. THE SCARIEST PART(I THOUGHT) WAS WHEN MIKE VAMP'S FACE APPEARED IN THE WIDOW OF APRIL'S HOUSE. THAT WAS FREAKY!!!

Summary: Didn't like it at all.
Review: I wish I hadn't read this book, it was terrible. The narrative is first person past tense, so you know April survived. I think the whole witness thing was unrealistic, and so was the scene where April's trapped in the house with the hit man. The ending was predictable and not exciting at all. All April seems to think about are boys and tennis. Please, don't read this book. It just isn't worth it.

Review: I teach 10th grade English, and I have just found another novel to add to my teaching curriculum. I loved this book, and I know my students will love it too (just like the 9th graders LOVE "I Know What You Did Last Summer"). Lois Duncan has a way of capturing your attention, even if you're a teenager who doesn't like to read much. I highly recommend this novel!!!

Review: This is the first book I've read by this author and after reading this book, I definitely want to keep reading more of her books. It was a really interesting story. I was really surprised by some parts. The ending is really surprising and great!

Summary: A Page turner!
Review: When I had to read a mystery book at school, a friend recommended this book to me. At first, I just stared at it and decided to read it. Now, this was the first Lois Duncan book I read before I came a fanatic. I accepted the recommendation from my friend 'cause she was urging me to read it (and also if I don't have a book to read in school, I would get in trouble). I started it and couldn't put the book down. It was a real page turner! So now I recommend this book to you as a friend did to me. Enjoy.

Review: I checked this book out and finished it in a day! I have to give Lois credit for this novel. It isn't a 100% suspense book, but some spots really get you. I like the whole plot of the book because in a way it's realistic. She truly shows you what it would be like to be a teenager and have to go through that sort of thing.

Friends of April's new friends talk about her behind her back and she wants to prove them wrong, but will she be able to? For a suspenseful novel, put it in your shopping cart and proceed to checkout!!!!!

Review: April is a really amazing character, even though at times, I was shocked by some of the things she did. This book was really interesting and if you have read any other books by Lois Duncan, you will love it!!
