Summary: Dark Angel- No Other Book Is Like It
Review: Dark Angel has to be the best book that has ever been written. Though you must read the book Heaven before reading Dark Angel, it doesn't even compare. Dark Angel's passion and emotions make you feel like you are not only included in the novel but as if you are the main character in the novel, Heaven, because of the descriptions and dialogue. It could not have been written any better, it completely lived up to my expectations and more. To anyone who can comprehend strong feelings and emotions, you must read this book. Not only has this book set the standards for the kind of person I'd like to be, but the great romance between Troy and Heaven sets the standards for every love you will ever have from then on, though there is no way anything can live up to it and no one can live up to Troy Tatterton. I think he is truly the best part of the book and without him it just wouldn't be the same. V.C. Andrews truly created the perfect man in Troy and the greatest book. I think she desribed it in the book: "Bigger than life I made Troy. Better than life, too good to be true." That's correct but it still makes you yearn and feel for it. This book is a must-read for all people who love romance and emotions, but still want a great story line and plot.

Summary: IF you only read one book this year, make it Dark Angel.
Review: I read this a few years ago and loved it.I have read all of V.C's books, and I think she was a fantastic writer, but Dark Angel is definately the best book she ever wrote. The characters seemed so real that by the end of the book you actually feel like you know them. I couldn't put this book down as it was everything a book should be,but the best feature was definately Heaven and Troys doomed romance.Troy was my favourite, and the best character in any book I,ve ever read.He was tall, dark, handsome, no wonder Heaven fell in love with him!But he was also very sweet, vulnerable and sensitive. When he 'left' I found myself crying as if he was a real person.I had to say to myself "calm down! It's just a book!" Virginia Andrews had a special way with words-they really touch you so you can feel the emotion of the book as if you are there experiencing it. I cried when Troy left, when Tom died, hell i even cried when grandpa died! that just goes to show how powerful and effective this book is.

Summary: My favorite book in my favorite series
Review: Despite her steady theme of incest, V.C. Andrews has always managed to come up with a story that captures my interest so much that once I sit down with one of her books in my hand, it's difficult for anyone to get me to focus on anything else. As much as I loved the first book of this series, I have to admit that I liked this book several times better (and this is one of the few rare occasions that anyone will get me to say that the sequel was better than the original). The moment Troy entered the story, I was hooked. He has the sensitivity and caring that easily makes him one of V.C. Andrews' best male characters. I still felt some urges for Heaven to get back with Logan, especially when she was trapped in the cabin with him during the storm, but I felt Troy was a better choice because he had never judged Heaven, and that's what she seemed to need. I was crushed when she found out that she was Troy's niece, even though there were enough hints that it didn't come as a great surprise. Tony creeped me out enough throughout the book for me to suspect that he may have fathered Heaven.

One of the reasons I preferred this book over "Heaven" was because we got the chance to see Heaven mature and realize that some of her childhood views on life were just as they seemed: childish. She becomes much stronger, and it was so gratifying for me when she convinced Pru to go down the chute into her filth. Doesn't everyone sort of wish they could do that to a school bully?

All in all, "Dark Angel" was definitely my favorite book out of this incredible series, and it's a must-read for any fan of V.C. Andrews.

Summary: Legacies Are Still Treasured
Review: The deceased V.C. Andrews was a ferocious writer while alive. She descriptively portrayed romantic love scenes, incestuous relationships and other perturbing matters. Virginia was a magnificent author and even though she's no longer with us, her legacies are still being published through the Andrews family. Dark Angel is one of these legacies that help us to remember this great literary style.
Heaven Casteel, Andrews' main character, has endured a very harsh life already, but still has more to come. With her father's long dark hair, and her mother's jade green eyes its hard for her grandparents not to like her. At sixteen she left Winnerow, Georgia, a poverty stricken town to go live with her rich grandparents in Boston at Farthinggale Manor. She later abruptly finds out that the man who is her grandmothers husband isn't her grandfather. Tony, her grandmothers young husband has a brother, Troy who is five years older than Heaven. Troy and Heaven amazingly fall in love. Only then is Heaven brutally ensnared in a sinister web of cruel deciets and hidden passions.
This is not just an easy read but a page turning classic. With almost three hundred pages, it shouldn't take that long to get through. After reading the first in the series, Heaven also by V.C. Andrews, I had to read the rest in the series. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Summary: The Romance of our dreams!!!
Review: I've read all the V.C. Andrews' books and Dark Angel is my favorite. The romance of Heaven and Troy would be a dream come true. Troy is one of the most wonderfully thought up males in the long history of books I've read. I was crushed when Heaven's true relationship with Troy was revealed. I think they should have ended up together. But still this is a wonderful book and will always save a "maiden in distress" (the best quote in the best part of the book!).

Summary: The best series ever written by VC Andrews
Review: I read this book 5 years ago and was very much affected by the beautiful and haunting story of Heaven and her two different families. I recently reread the series and felt the same magic I did when I first read the books. I especially loved Heaven and Troy's tragic romance...I don't know if I'd have the strength to do what Heaven did. I wholeheartedly recommend this book and the entire Casteel series to anyone wanting to experience VC Andrews for the first time. I think the recent Andrews books are just pale imitations of the original ones so read the original ones first.

Review: this book deserves 4.9999999 stars. :) Only FITA series will get 5 stars from me, but it's usually whatever series you start out with is your favorite, so I'm sure others will think I'm mental. ha ha

this is my absolute favorite book in the Heaven series. I totally fell in love with Troy. I even married a guy that's very similar to him. Go figure. Heck, his name is even Trey. ha ha

this book is awesome. Definitely start with the beginning of the series, and work your way through it. Your time will be well spent.

Summary: A great book that other people would be interrested in
Review: When Tony and Jillian made plains just to go see their grandmothers grave almost everyday. Tony had a dream about his grandmother and he saw her in a gray furry coat and she had very long hair, she had it in a pony tail and Tony didn't think she would be that pretty. Tony will bite down on his tonge so he don't show his fear. Jillian hasn't had a mom since she was fourteen years oul. Tony heard a silence noice and it would not stop and then stop and then it got lower every minute.
