Rating: Summary: Okay Review: I don't think Dean Koontz is a very good writer. But Strangers is pretty good. Some parts were very intiguing, other parts were very boring. I guessed what happened to the Strangers about a third of the way through.
Rating: Summary: What a Book! Review: I thought this book was great, because of the great character devolpments and the characters personalites, but I only gave it four stars because I thought he could have wrote a better ending. Read this book and you'll know what I mean by great, one hell of a ride.
Rating: Summary: strangers Review: This was the second d. koontz book i'd read and the one that got me hooked. I've read most of his books and it's the only one i've read twice. If you get a chance, read it.
Rating: Summary: Excellent Review: This story is so amazing, it keeps you on the edge of your seat until the very end. You'll never forget reading this story. Its Dean at his best.
Rating: Summary: hooked on koontz Review: This is the book that started me on my Dean Koontz oddessey ! The suspense is awsome ! Talk about a page turner ! Just as you are getting used to a character and intrigued by the odd things that are happening to them....You come to a new chapter and the start of a new character ? This in itself is sooo intriguing...you just know they all must be connected some way .....but they are all so different and from different areas of the USA. What could be the connection ? If you have never read Dean Koontz, start with this one and you will certainly be a devoted fan everafter as am I.If you read in bed at night, get used to lack of sleep ! You will not be able to put this down !
Rating: Summary: Excellent Review: I love this book. I've read many of Koontz's books, but this is by far and away his best. It is the story of a group of people spread out over the country who all start experiencing strange things: a grown man becomes deathly afraid of the dark; another starts sleepwalking; a priest loses his faith; a young doctor has attacks that cause her to flee from she doesn't know what; and there are others. As they try to figure out what is causing these things they are drawn together, and to a motel in the Nevada desert. Koontz leaves the reader as much in the dark as the characters in the book, and it is a pleasure to try and solve the mystery along with them. A very interesting, involving, and exciting book, I highly recommend it to all.
Rating: Summary: Excellent book! Review: This was a great book. The plot moved quickly and the ending was a total surprise. The characters were realistic and the situations were richly detailed. This is definitely one of Koontz's best, right up there with "Watchers."
Rating: Summary: "The Moon, the Moon..." Review: Quite simply, this is the best book that I have ever read, in the genre of "science fiction"... Very entertaining, and kept me thinking (and dreaming) about the plot well after I had finished it. Actually, something very weird happened to me when I was reading this book, which added a little to its mystique: The book is divided into chapters that delineate time, and date. As it turns out, I was reading the book when i reached a chapter that was the exact day and date (Tues, January 14-- i believe)... Anyways... this is a great book, and will soon (if not already) will become one of your favorites... Way to go Dean!
Rating: Summary: The best Review: I've read almost all of Dean's books, but this one is the best of them. A great story, just like a good x-files episode with a twist. If you'll read this book, you'll become a Koontz addict, like me and all my friends after reading this book.
Rating: Summary: Dean Koontz At His Best Review: Excellent book. Possibly the best book I've ever read
