Review: I thought that the book was great. King did a great job in actually putting me in the story. It was one of the best books that i ever read. The techinical part of the book was great too, it was really well put together. I would recomend this book to anyone who want to read a suspensfull, descriptive and thrilling book.

Review: the book may start out a bit slow but it puts you in the right mood. the flashbacks are sketchy at first but get more detailed as they go along (i found that a little bit anoying). my favorite thing about this book is that a 7 year old girl and a 30 some year old college teacher can slip away from a govornment agency for so long <laughs>. i just plain like the fact that the "shop" messes up so much.

Summary: Chilling...
Review: I read it about 2 years ago. It scared the hell out of me. I still remember the nightmares I had after reading how people from The Shop tortured Vicky (finally killing her) , it was just too much. Anyway, I give it a 9 because I'm this big fan of King and I know he can do better. Chilling as it was, something was missing. Something that The Shining and The Stand had: they were simply unforgettable.

Summary: Definately not King's best book!
Review: I'd like to start by saying, this is not a book to read if you are a first time reader of King's novels. It starts off really slow and gives you the impression that he isn't a good writer at all. Once I actually got into the book I found it to be interesting, but "The Shop" just isn't realistic enough to keep me into the story. I gave this book a 6 because personally, I don't believe King put forth total effort into his writing.

Review: Although I read the book in another language, the translation was wonderful and the story remaind! While readin' your hands are gettin' warm from the girl. I don't know how Stephen King keeps makin' up these stories, but they remain all splendid! Recommended aspecially for YOU!!!

Summary: Very Suspensful, one of Stephen King's Best Novels !!!
Review: This book is perfect for people who are reading King's novels for the first time. The reason I didn't give this book a 10 is because it had an extremely boring and slow start (I personally like books to start with a lot of action). As you near the middle of the story, though, you won't be able to put the book down until you finish it (I was up all night). Other than that, the plot was very exciting and unpredictable, which makes it what I think is one of King's best. My overall rating is 9 because it has a really exciting and suspensful plot (especially the climax), but starts off very boring, I read this book when I was ten years old (I'm 11 now) and it gave me the chills! And I say again, once you come to the middle, you'll never be able to put it down !!

Summary: A Satisfying Read. . .
Review: I really enjoyed this book. It was not the first book I read by King, and maybe that's why I didn't give it a 10. When I read this, I had already had a taste of some of some of his other works, which are also incredible. It's not a particularly long book, but it is done perfectly. The story is great, it keeps your interest. But I have read better books by King. This book had some slow spots, but if you're looking for a good, quick, satisfying read, then this is the book.
