Rating: Summary: boring at first, but i still ended up hooked. Review: this novel by dean koontz was somewhat boring at first, i was on the verge of shuting it and putting it back on my shelf when all of a sudden it hooked me. i finished the book in one night. i would highly recommend this book to all koontz fan. and i promise that it does get better just give it a chance.
Rating: Summary: This Book Rules! Review: I Have got to say that this is one of the finest books that I have ever read. Anyone who is a fan of Stephen King of Maine, or Brian Gilmore of Gordon Tech. will surely enjoy this book
Rating: Summary: NOT ONE OF HIS BEST! Review: Fear Nothing is the first Dean Koontz novel I've read that has left me feeling a little disappointed. As I read the book, I kept waiting for it to draw me in but that really didn't happen 'till the very end.
Rating: Summary: Just good enough to finish Review: This thriller seems to meet the minimum requirements for most people to finish it. Overall, a rehash of "Watchers." Some good suspense scenes but the book was wordy and the story just felt tired. Protagonist's handicap made for a new character but in this case it seemed very contrived. A new plot, fresher ideas, and fewer smart dogs next time, Mr. Koontz.
Rating: Summary: When will the next book in the trilogy be on the shelves? Review: Loved Chris Snow and all the excitement and suspense in his life. I'm dying for the second book in the series to come out. Does anyone know when it will appear?
Rating: Summary: This is the first Dean Koontz book I've read and now im hook Review: "Fear Nothing" by Dean Konntz is superb. The plot is well thought out, the charecters well made and ideas great. The book was wonderfully suspense filled with out being completely horrifieing and the ideas used in the book were obviously thought about for a long wile.
Rating: Summary: Read the book and loved it. Review: This book was captivating fom the moment I picked it up. Yes the book has many chapters, but it is a fast reading book and the writing is convincing (convincing as fiction can be). The tail that Christopher Snow and his faithful dog are able to communicate on a level higher than people really communicate with their pets, gives the story an interesting touch. Cool book for those who like the heartpounding excitement of a murder-suspense, and the scientific possibilities of fiction.
Rating: Summary: Too wordy Review: I have read many of Koontz's books and found this one to be extremely boring. He could have cut it in half and come to the point sooner. His descriptions were more than I wanted or needed to know in order to tell the story. Go back to writing short stories and forget the novels. Listening to the audio version, I was unable to skim through the descriptions and had to sit through too much muck to get to the point.
Rating: Summary: Unique story with very likable characters Review: Dean Koontz displays his talent for the unimaginable once again. Anything is possible in this world and Mr. Koontz adds a whole new twist to the possibilities in "Fear Nothing."
Rating: Summary: Fear Nothing was an okay book Review: Fear Nothing was a good book that had a lot of potential, but did not deliver. I am a big Koontz fan and have read most of his books, and I thought that this book does not measure up to his usual books. I could hardly put the book down until I reached the end. In the end it seemed to me that Koontz tried to end the book too fast. The book was good, but not near as good as most of his books. I would recommend many other of his books before this one.
